78 81 87 MONTE CARLO CUTLASS G BODY FLOOR SHIFT TILT STEERING COLUMN REBUILT

Factory automatic floor shift tilt steering column w/ delay wipers and cruise control correct for 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983,1984, 1985, 1986, 1987 GM G Body cars. This includes the following models:

Buick Regal, Chevy El Camino, Malibu, Monte Carlo, SS, GMC Caballero, Olds Cutlass, Supreme, Calais, 442, Pontiac Grand Prix.

NOTE: Column is also a direct fit for 1978. However this year column used a splined shaft and so you would need the intermediate shaft from the ’79-’87 model years in order to work. They are all the same at the gearbox.

Column has been completely disassembled, cleaned, detailed, and re-assembled. Any bad/ worn parts replaced.

Column has a new cylinder lock w/ 2 keys, new cruise/ delay wiper lever, new hazard knob.

Bearings in excellent shape and have been repacked with new grease.

The 4 bolts that hold the tilt cradle tight were coated with red thread locker (see last pic) and torqued. The tilt is tight and will stay that way. No play. Tilt locks securely into all positions.

Column was sanded smooth, etch primed, sanded through 400 grit and painted black satin lacquer.

Column is ready to install.
