98-04 2wd S10 Blazer Spindles L/R WITH HUB BOLTS. Great For G-bodies- Big Brakes
Price will go to 349 beginning 1/1/24. The farther I have to go to get these, the more it costs me.
Monthly supply will be limited to 5 sets. There is much time and labor involved in saving these great parts. I’m only a one person operation who already has plenty to do to acquire my mirror supply. If you’re in quick need of a set, and I’m “out”, I’m sure I can probably help you on that. I’ll do my best to not run out and keep this listing active for all watchers.
This listing is for a matched set(left and right) of spindles that were removed from 98–04 2wd s10 blazers/jimmy’s. This is the best spindle to use on a g-body or s10 pickup to allow you to run a sealed hub and accept bigger and better brakes.
These spindles were pulled only from clean, rust free southern trucks. They have been cleaned and painted(not perfect; but good enough, I’m not Picasso or Mr Clean- I get them 97% degreased, then painted); and each will come with three hub mounting bolts(6 per set) and the 4 bolts for the blazer calipers.
I
It’s rare that I see one that’s too bad for rust down here, but I won’t pull them if they obviously lived in salt. All we have here on the coast is a saltwater gulf; and we tend not to drive in it much:). Spindles are made of cast iron; which has a natural color of “rust”, they all look pretty identical; and ironically look better with a decade plus of grease piling up on them. No used part is new, but if the body is still intact, I wouldn’t see any issue with an iron spindle as long as the balljoints were good for it’s life. I inspect for signs otherwise. My goal is to give you a part that is as sound as can be. If I wouldn’t run it on mine, I surely wouldn’t sell them to you. I also make sure the ball joint and tie rod holes are straight and true.
Every set has at least 2-plus hours of my labor time on removal and cleanup/painting/boxing, plus bloody knuckes and my travel time to yards that are as far as 400 miles from me. It is by no means fun to do, but these spindles are getting less available every day; and as a diy car guy myself; I know the importance of good quality used parts for custom setups. I’m not making as much as you’d think off going through the trouble to rescue them for a small profit margin. But I’m happy to do it to save them from becoming scrap metal and for the benefit of the performance auto community.
Always happy to answer questions; but I’m not the most knowledgeable guy for in depth suspension questions beyond an s10 Or g-body. There is plenty of info out there on which cars can use these, and many brake adapters made specifically for these spindles to use as big a rotor as your wheels will allow. Still feel free to ask anything. The only dumb question is the one not asked.
I personally use these on my 03 s10 so I could run the hubs and blazer brakes. It also has a very aggressive(and common) combination of front end parts(tall low friction joints and tubular arms).
