1981 Chevrolet El Camino
1981 El Camino. This was the last year GM made these in the US. This one was built in Michigan. 72,053 original miles, original paint except for top which I repainted to repair fading. New tires, new wheels, new brakes, freshly serviced, new valve covers and gaskets, no leaks, no rust. New seat foam (OEM) new upholstery, new seat belts, new carpet, new dyna mat along with extra floor insulation, new window tint, new headliner, rebuilt speedometer to fix the chronic needle bounce these style speedometers are known for. AC, Heat, updated LED headlights, new battery, new exhaust. Drives perfectly and is fun! Quite the head turner. I’ve done everything, except fix the couple dash cracks, to make this El Camino, fun, safe, reliable and easy on the eyes. I drive it daily. GM is re-introducing the El Camino this year which will drive the value and popularity of these vintage machines.
