Are you planning on putting a lift in the rear of your 73-77 A Body? These Monte Carlo adjustable trailing arms fit all 73-77 Chevy A Body platform cars and are a necessity when lifting the rear of this car. The arms are a bolt-on design and are specifically designed for cars running lift springs or lift cups.

When choosing Monte Carlo adjustable trailing arms for your car lift project, be sure to note the finish on the parts. All of Universal Car Lifts parts feature a durable gloss black powder coat finish. We start by cleaning the raw metal parts with a degreaser solution to facilitate a permanent finish bonding. The parts are then sent through a large oven and heated to encourage off gassing. This uniformly bakes off any impurities from the parts.
After pretreating the parts in an oven, the Monte Carlo adjustable trailing arms are professionally sprayed with a high end powder coat gun in a clean room spray booth. The arms are then sent back through the oven where they bake at the proper temperature to obtain a permanent bond.
This powder coat technique is the same method that new car manufacturers use to ensure their parts last virtually forever. It prevents rust from forming on the parts which will weaken the steel and cause premature failure.
Beware of “knock-off brand” sellers who use cheap hardware store spray paint to finish their parts. The finish will look like crap and the parts will almost immediately rust. The corrosion will eventually cause the parts to fail and could cause your rear end to fall out of your car.
Insist on genuine UCL extended Monte Carlo adjustable trailing arms for your project. We have been manufacturing car lifts longer than anyone else and have more cars running our lifts than anyone else.
Like all car lift kits, you will need to install new bushings in to the trailing arms. You can try reusing your stock bushings, but chances are the 20+ year old factory units are in need of replacement. We provide the part numbers in the instructions and you can purchase these at your local auto parts store.

You will need to use a hydraulic H press to install the bushings in the rear trailing arms. We recommend having an experienced professional do this.
