Please Read This as it has been brought to our Attention by Numerous Dissatisfied Customers who thought they bought an actual 500 Series Box that CPP created only to find out its a cheap made Knock off that doesn’t function properly. The issues are Endless with these boxes and all i can do is try to educate the Consumer that if the Box doesn’t say ” 500 Series” on the casting its not the real deal (as pictured below for reference) Also i posted a reference picture of the actual corrugated cardboard shipping boxes to show you that if it is not delivered in this box it is also a fake! In 2005 CPP created this box and it has become truly the industry favorite and we truly feel horrible to see people spend there hard earned money on something made so poorly and to ever be confused with our steering box, in all honesty its Insulting and its Fraud! . I certainly hope this reaches the Clueless consumer before he or she is suckered into nothing more than a Cheap Steering Box that has issues even before installed in Your Vehicle. GM G-Body CPP 500-Series™ Quick Ratio Power Steering Gearbox

CPP’s 500-Series™ steering box is a 14:1 ratio unit and is a direct bolt on to your frame rail but if you have original 800 box you will need the Gear box fittings to accept your factory O-ring hoses part # (500IOA ) and New Rag joint part # (RJC605-S) If you have a factory 605 Steering Box you will need fittings part # (500IOA) new power steering Pitman Arm (7685PSDA-U)

This new power steering conversion gearbox is a modern alternative to the popular but outdated 800 box. The 500-Series box provides superior directional control and road feedback, as well as a more stable/comfortable feel for the driver. CPP engineered the recirculating ball gears for low friction and increased steering response. An open centered, rotary type valve provides smooth operation throughout the steering range while retaining excellent road feel. Notice that the mounting bosses are integrated into the casting, eliminating the need for an external bracket. Also, it will line up perfectly to your column without shims or spacers. Other boxes on the market are rebuilt units, while the 500-Series is a brand new box with a new housing, new internals, new gaskets, and new seals. This is the very best gearbox available to convert your G-Body to power steering! Output shaft is 3/4-30, utilizes a factory power steering pitman arm and the box is setup for flared fittings not o-ring. What more could you ask for?

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Orders over $599 will be sent out with signature required. You will need to sign for your packages or make arrangements with the carrier to pick up from their nearest hub.

Most items (unless noted in the handling time) ship from our warehouse within 4-5business days from the business day your payment is received and processed in our system. Orders placed Friday and through the weekend will be processed Monday (excluding Holidays).

Once your order is processed and shipped from our warehouse you will receive an email with your tracking information.

We ship via UPS and FedEx.

We only ship to a confirmed PayPal shipping address.

All Will Call orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance for pickup from the showroom, including in showroom or parking lot orders. Local pickup is available upon request. A matching ID, which must correspond to the name on the PayPal payment, is mandatory for picking up items. Will Call orders will not be released and will be refused if the person and ID do not match the PayPal payment. Local pick up requires a 24hr processing time before pick up. We will notify you when the parts are ready for pick up.

Warranty

All eBay purchases come with a 30-day warranty from the day you receive your order. If you receive an item that is damaged or defective or missing components, please notify us within 3 days of receipt. Any items outside the 30-day warranty will be the responsibility of the customer to pay for any repairs, as well as cover all shipping costs.
