1985 MONTE CARLO SS for sale in Charlotte/Monroe, NC area. Original 305 cid V8 and transmission w/ 98,100 miles. This is a nice car that runs, shifts and drives very smoothly. This car is not a SHOW CAR, but is very nice to be a 1985! Interior is in very good shape, headliner doesn’t sag, no rips/tears on seats. Runs strong, no rattles/shakes. A/C is very cold, like new tires and American Racing Rims! Stereo and sound system has been upgraded. Everything on car is original, except rims and stereo! This car does have that crack in the middle of dashboard, barely visible hail damage repair on roof, a little burn mark on drivers side seat, two slight blemishes on paint and slight transmission fluid drip (add small amount of fluid once a year). Horn does’t currently work… can’t find anyone who can fix issue… car is older than most mechanics at shops I’ve taken it to! SERIOUS INQURIES ONLY! SOLD AS IS!

1983 El Camino. 350 crate motor with Edelbrock aluminum heads and roller rockers and air gap intake. Full drop headers with flowmaster dual exhaust Replaced carb with a Holly 650 double pumper. Replaced Alternator, valve cover gaskets as well as intake gaskets with valve seals due to car sitting. Changed oil with zinc racing 20W50. Car has tubular lowering an arm conversion in the front . I installed new Nitto tires on the existing 17” torque trust wheels due to dry cracks from sitting. Rear tires are 285/40/17 and fronts are 235/45/17. During early build a disc rear from an 80s Monte SS was installed. Very solid car. Underneath is southern clean. If you’re looking for a El Camino you would not be disappointed. Please ask questions. I will try to answer the best I can. (Revised).The car has ac hooked up. I just converted it to 134 on 9-8. I added a can of Freon to see if it holds pressure and it does. I would suggest hooking it up at a shop that can do it with high and low hookups for a complete drain of system and fill. Compressor works as it should. ( Don’t hesitate to toss me an offer )
