1978-1988 GM G-Body Tubular Upper & Lower Control Arms Kit

Rear control arms are one of the most important suspension modifications that can be done to your GM vehicle. Stock control arms are on the borderline of “junk”, bushing deflection and rusting weak stamped material add for traction loss and poor handling ability. Our tubular control arms are designed to give you the best of both worlds, whether your car is a weekend cruiser or a weekend track addict we got you covered. The included Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings are an excellent improvement over OEM rubber bushings, while adding ride improvements they also work excellent to reduce traction loss. These control arms are a direct bolt-on replacement designed to minimize wheel hop, improve corning and help track consistency. Lower control arms are supplied with sway bar mounting holes designed for your stock sway bar and most aftermarket bars.

BMR has designed the STB462 for the street performance, drag race, and handling applications. This two-point design solidly links the rear frame, adding strength to the chassis.

Connect the rear upper shock mounts and reinforce the chassis on your 1978-1987 G-Body with a rear shock tower brace from BMR Suspension. BMR?s Rear Strut Tower Brace (STB462) firms up the G-Body chassis by adding loads of strength and support to the factory rear frame that tends to flex, even with mild amounts of torque and horsepower. The BMR Rear Strut Tower Brace is constructed from lightweight DOM steel tubing and laser cut 3/l6-inch steel plate to provide maximum strength without adding unnecessary bulk.

QA1’s Drag Racing Control Arms are what every drag racer needs. Integrated with QA1’s Ultra Low Friction Ball Joint and composite bushings provide bind-free movement during launch to promote optimal weight transfer. The adjustable droop sop allows user to dial in front end rise during launch. A new feature with these control arms are the billet aluminum shafts which help reduce front end weight yet provide durability for street driving. QA1 control arms are among the lightest available without sacrificing durability for street use. Configured for QA1 Pro Coil Systems with double shear lower mounting. The combination of high strength tubing and billet aluminum cross shafts make these arms amount to the lightest on the market with improved strength and durability. Robotically welded and high-quality powder coated these street control arms look great. Improve your 60? times with this all-new system.
