1984-87 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL TURBO-T TYPE CONSOLE ASSEMBLY G-BODY

OEM 84-87 Buick Grand National / Turbo T / T-Type Automatic Console. This is a take-out console from an 84-87 GN in very nice condition. The two-tone console features a black lower/upper housing, topped off with a gray top. The overall condition of the base/mid sections are very nice – clean and very presentable. The chrome bead has been touched up and looks the part. The upper front half of the console is very clean as well and matches the console storage lid. The shifter plate has a new applique installed and is complemented with the correct Overdrive shift indicator: it is missing the ashtray. The interior of the storage console is clean, while the lid closes and locks properly. All mounting points are good throughout as well. The shifter plate includes the shift shaft slide along with the correct components under the shifter plate to include the shift light baffle and shifter sleeve. An original ash tray is also included – typically missing.

The only flaw in the unit is on the passenger rear side of the console lid – it has a small split; out of sight once in the car, but both mentioned and pictured for clarity.

This is a very nice assembly – especially considering it is 35+ years old – that will replace a damaged or missing console. Best of all, it is a genuine GM part!

Power steering and power brakes (discs in front, drums in rear)This car has been very well maintained and garaged kept. No rust on the body or frame. Original vinyl interior with bucket seats, middle console and floor shifter. Power windows only. No optioned with a tilt column. All warning lights- temp, volt, and general warning light operate as they should. Fuel gauge also works. Original radio, clock, horn, wipers, blinkers, turn signals, high beams, rear, front, parking and dome light work as they should. Equipped with rear defogger only, no cruise control. Additions in 2023- new springs, new shocks, new headliner, new visors, and new battery. Posi rear end and dual exhaust. Sitting on 14” Oldsmobile Super Stock II Chrome wheels and 21570 BF Goodrich Radial TA tires.. Original two tone paint job of white and code #54 light yellow. Paint is in really good shape for being the original paint job.Recent oil change in May of 2024. Great weekend cruiser, car show type of vehicle. Spare tire and jack included. The AC was converted to 134R and does work, but it needs a new compressor. Other than that, this car needs nothing. All original car except for the Olds wheels. A clean survivor!
