To adjust the cups, simply cut a piece off the large end. You can use a hack saw, jig saw, sawzall, band saw, chop saw, grinder or similar cutting tool to trim to size. How to lift a car for Rims

Installation of the spring boosters is straight forward. We will send you detailed written instructions as well as a DVD installation video. This shows the process narrated step-by-step form start to finish. As a basic over view of what is required, here are the steps for Universal lift kit installation:

• ● Raise vehicle and remove wheels




• ● Disconnect the shock and carefully release tension on the suspension




• ● Remove the springs and compress




• ● Reinstall the springs with the lift cups on top or bottom




• ● Reconnect the suspension parts including shocks

Some additional related parts you may interested in for your Malibu lift kit

When installing car spring spacers we recommend some additional parts to give you optimal ride handling. For example, when lifting the front of the car more than an inch or two, your tire will tend to tilt inwards at the top. This is called “negative camber” and can be corrected by using our extended front control arms for G Body lift kit.

In the rear of the car, the rear axle will tend to swing forward in the wheel well when lifting over an inch or two. This can cause the wheel to look funny and too pushed forward in the wheel well. You can also experience drive line vibrations with taller lifts over a few inches. For that reason, we recommend our extended rear trailing arms for G Body lift kit.

To smooth out the ride quality of your lifted ride, and to soften the impact of running low profile tires, UCL offers extended lift shocks for G Body lift kit type applications. The shocks are longer than stock and can prevent the shocks from bottoming out. The valving is better suited for a lifted car application and will give you the optimum ride quality.
