PLEASE READ THIS DESCRIPTION AND LOK AT ALL THE PHOTOS BECAUSE GM, IN ITS INFINITE WISDOM, HAD MANY DIFFERENT SEAT TRACKS THROUGH THE YEARS THAT WHILE APPEARING SIMILAR, WERE UNIQUE IN PIN CONFIGURATION, COUNT AND ARRANGEMENT. I believe GM changed from the earlier models that used the one large seat transmission to separate motors and cable like this one around late 1984 or early 1985; this track seat was used on most B, D, F and G-body models until the early 1990’s (and up until 2002 on the F-Body models).  PLEASE REMOVE YOUR SEAT TRACK AND INSPECT IT TO MAKE SURE IT IS THE SAME AS THIS ONE BEFORE PURCHASING.  I would look at the plug connector and compare it to yours AND I would also carefully observe where the REAR seat track bolt brackets are located.  These both face to the RIGHT if you are looking down on the seat track from the rear.  Some tracks had the brackets bolted to the left.  I would just make comparisons to your plug and attaching points and if you need any measurements or other things, please let me know and feel free to ask!ALSO, please feel free to ask any questions you have prior to purchasing-I am here to help and will answer you to the best of my ability!

This is a 100% TESTED and FUNCTIONAL Driver’s Side Power Seat Track (please see the uploaded VIDEO for a demonstration of the seat moving and both front and rear tilt and forward/backward movement) from a 1985 Eldorado with approximately 54,000 miles on the odometer; the track appears JUST AS IT WAS REMOVED from the donor Eldorado, and there has been NO EFFORT to clean it-it is just THAT CLEAN.  HOWEVER, all the plastic connectors (white from the factory) which crack into oblivion over time were replaced with NEW black-colored clips so there will be NO track motor cables coming loose. The 6-wire connector is also shown in the 4th and 5th photos. Each motor was also injected with needle-point grease to assure years of trouble-free operation.  I have included photos of the power seat switch and the wiring harness connector for the seat switch for reference-the switch is NOT included but shown for REFERENCE; I also have included photos of the donor vehicle (these all are the last few photos)!

The car has been in South Texas all it’s life and so there is NO corrosion on the unit at all.  Looks as good as the day it was installed.  Please match the part numbers and check with your mechanic or dealer for further fitments/specifics.
