A-arms are one of the most important, yet overlooked suspension components. They are the direct link between the front wheels and the chassis. Any deflection causes a change in alignment, which results in poor performance and driving feel. Fabricated from heavy-duty 1.25-inch and 1.500-inch, 0.095-inch wall DOM tubing with laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel braces for extra strength, deflection is eliminated with A-arms from BMR Suspension. BMR?s AA030 Upper and Lower A-arms are fitted with heavy-duty ball joints and greasable, 95-durometer bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR?s bushings are internally fluted, which allows grease to evenly coat the inner sleeve. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.

Fitment Notes: These extended length front upper control arms are for the 2003-2013 Dodge Ram 2500 4×4 and 2003-2012 3500 4×4 with a 1.0″-3.0″ lifted ride height. These must be matched with our Part# D03-202-3 (2003-2009) or D10-202-3 (2010-2013) extended length front lower control arms. The extended length front control arms push the front axle housing front so it remains properly positioned fore/aft after lifting the ride height.

These adjustable rear upper control arms for the 1979-2004 Ford Mustang and Fox Body cars outperform the flexible, stamped steel arms and soft rubber bushings that come from the factory.

Eliminate wheel hop, increase traction, and drastically improve handling with an easy bolt on installation. The Del-Sphereâ„¢ pivot joints provide for “bind-free” handling and no deflection launch performance. They’re available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

These adjustable rear upper control arms are constructed from CNC laser cut and formed 1/4″ steel mounting brackets for maximum strength and durability.

The adjustability feature allows for setting the pinion angle. Our right hand and left hand threaded silver zinc plated CNC machined 4140 chrome moly double male adjuster allows for easy on-the-car adjustments, no need to unmount the control arm to make adjustments!

The control arm bushings on the 1979-2004 Ford Mustang and Fox Body cars have a significant impact on your vehicle’s ride, comfort, handling, acceleration, noise and vibration. When the vehicle leans (rolls) in a turn, one side of the chassis moves up relative to the rear axle and the other side moves down.

The control arms must twist to allow for the axle to articulate, this causes the control arm bushings to bind. If this bind becomes excessive, it will raise the rear wheel rate and produce sudden and uncontrolled changes in handling such as snap oversteer.

The factory minimizes this suspension bind by using compliant rubber bushings. These soft bushings help accommodate the necessary motion of the control arms during body roll. However, the rubber bushings do not provide much in the way of forward and aft support which can cause wheel hop during hard acceleration and braking.

It is common to replace the stock rubber control arm bushings with polyurethane bushings to resolve the shortcomings of the factory’s soft rubber bushings. Polyurethane bushings eliminate wheel hop, reduce axle deflection, and improve straight line traction. However, the downside of polyurethane bushings is they prevent the necessary movement of the control arms during body roll, which in turn produces significant binding in the suspension when the vehicle is cornering.

The polyurethane bushings also place high stresses on the control arm mounts on the vehicle. Polyurethane bushed control arms do not allow for rotation of the control arm during cornering because of the stiffness of the bushings.

Del-Sphereâ„¢ Pivot Joints:

The Spohn Performance Del-Sphere™ pivot joint solves the shortcomings of the factory rubber and aftermarket polyurethane bushings. Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint incorporates a spherical ball which is surrounded by Delrin® bushing cups.

Think of the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint as a Delrin® bushed spherical rod end. After over a year of R&D testing here at Spohn Performance on a streetable spherical joint the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is the final result. Designed and manufactured exclusively by Spohn Performance, we have taken street suspension performance to the next level.

Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint features a one piece forged and heat treated chrome moly housing, a heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly spherical ball, Delrin® bushing cups, heat treated retainer washer and snap ring, heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly threaded adjuster ring, an external grease fitting, and a beautiful silver zinc plated housing finish.

The Delrin® bushing cups absorb shock and road noise so you get the quiet and smooth ride of a bushing as well as 28 degrees of rotation! Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joints will always ship to you fully assembled, however, we also offer an optional adjusting tool that will allow you to do two things.

First, you can disassemble the Del-Sphereâ„¢ pivot joint for cleaning, inspection, etc. Second, you can adjust the amount of tension on the spherical ball. The amount of tension can be easily adjusted by using our optional adjustment tool to tighten or loosen the end retainer ring.

What that means is if over time and miles the tolerances open up you can simply re-adjust the retainer ring and have your pivot joint as tight as it was the day it was brand new. We doubt you’ll ever need to replace the Delrin® bushing cups, but they certainly can be. Unlike a spherical rod end, the Del-Sphereâ„¢ pivot joint is 100% rebuildable.

Constructed of heavy duty steel with an exact fit

These G Body ball joint spacers are constructed from thick steel that is precision cut to exacting specifications. We make the ball joint spacers 5/16″ thick (0.3125). This will allow you to raise your ball joint 5/16″.

You can also flip the ball joint to the bottom of the control arm and use this spacer to get about a 1/2″ drop. The dropped ball joints are commonly used in lifted car applications to get extra room for a lift spring or spring cup to fit.

The relocated ball joint plate on these a-arms permits up to six degrees of positive caster without excessive shimming. Features include greaseable, low deflection UMI designed and manufactured Delrin bushings, chromoly cross shafts, premium ball joints and polyurethane bump stops. These track-tested, jig built DOM a-arms are supplied with a durable gloss red or black powder coat finish which guarantees your performance parts stay beautiful on your street car, drag car, autocrosser or Pro-touring machine. This is a complete set of 4 fully assembled CPP Totally Tubular A-arms for 78-87 G Body. These arms come installed with factory style ball joints and the lower control arm will accommodate most aftermarket sway bars on the market and are compatible with both coil springs and coilover setups. Additionally, the lower control coil spring pocket is in the stock/factory location and will not lower the car like other vendors control arm do. These A-arms come fully assembled and ready to install and are made proudly in the USA!    

The Coil-Over Conversion Kit for features Viking billet, double-adjustable coil over shocks with 450lbs springs. This highly adjustable race quality shock features dual 19 click rebound and compression adjustment knobs providing a total of 361 possible dampening combinations while the threaded pre-load collar will adjust ride height as well as make the spring stiffer/softer. The bodies are constructed of high quality billet aluminum and the surface is a very high quality, sleek, clear anodized finish. Viking light weight springs are just as high tech as their shocks. Each spring is cold wound, high tensile U.S. spring steel that has been heat treated and shot peened with both ends ground and are powder coated a chrome-like silver. Additionally, they are non-binding “high travel” springs and are 25% lighter, on average versus the competition. Transform your classic G body from an average driver to a street machine with these coilovers and unleash the potential of your suspension.

Orders over $599 will be sent out with signature required. You will need to sign for your packages or make arrangements with the carrier to pick up from their nearest hub.

Most items (unless noted in the handling time) ship from our warehouse within 2-3 business days from the business day your payment is received and processed in our system. Orders placed Friday and through the weekend will be processed Monday (excluding Holidays).

These heavy duty rear control arms are much stronger than stock stamped arms and help control wheel hop.

  • Much stronger than stock stamped arms
  • 11-1/4″ center to center
  • Does not include bushings
  • Upper Arms: 11-1/4″

Note: Measurements are center to center of the bushings.

Bushing installation note: The bushing eyelets have a stepped inside diameter. This requires the bushings to be installed into one specific side of the arm which has the larger inside diameter as compared to it’s opposite side. The bushing will not properly fit if it is started into the smaller, incorrect side of the bushing eye ring.

These steel rear control arm bushings have spherical bearings in them, just like a rod end, which frees up suspension movements and eliminates binding. Fits ’73-’88 GM midsize upper and lower rear control arms.

This unit includes black rubber inserts for both sides to make the unit appear more “stock appearing.” Please note that they can be removed to clean and disassemble and re-assemble the spherical bushing as needed.
