Tech Specs:

ACI Motors with No Load Amperage: 3 Amps

ACI Motors with Low Load Amperage: 5 Amps

ACI Motors with High Load Amperage: 11 Amps

ACI Motors Stall Amperage: 20 Amps

ACI Motors are Reverse Polarity:

This means that the ground for the system must come out of the master switch. There are 2 poles on the motor – to make it operate, you must put power to one side and ground on the other side (NOT the motor’s case). This will result in the motor turning in one direction. By swapping the wires from side to side, the direction will change

Fuses or Circuit Breakers – 30 Amps:

Most of Nu-Relics harnesses will come with an in-line 30 Amp fuse. If you prefer, a circuit breaker will work too. You can hook your windows up to a variety of different power sources

Powering Wire Options:

> Straight to the battery (windows should not have any battery draw when not in use)

> Extra slot on the fuse panel (tie in using supplied fuse)

> Pull power from a switched power source (make sure this power source will not overload by adding this kit)

Relays:

In most cases, you will not need to use a relay to boost amperage to the motors. The switches and wiring Nu-Relics uses can handle the amp draws

Grease & Oil:

> On the regulator gear teeth & roller tracks, Nu-Relics recommend using high temp automotive wheel and chassis lubricant

> Avoid the older soap bases lithium grease (it sets up hard in cold weather making window harder to move)

> A few drops of light weight oil in the pivot points will allow the bronze Oilite® bushings to work smoothly and reduce wear

> On fuzzy runs and weather stripping. some 3M Silicone spray can help break in

> Use Die-Electric grease or Tuner Lube on all terminals and connections. This helps prevent & protects against moisture and corrosion

Notes:

The front door regulator mounts into the original power regulator mounting holes. Picture included in the kit for assist with location

The kit’s ACI motors are reverse polarity motors and require reverse polarity switches. Reverse polarity means that the ground is within the wiring harness rather than off the motor. The easiest way to determine if you have a reverse polarity switches is to look at the number of poles on the back of a single switch. You must have 5 or more poles to have reverse polarity switch.

All good are covered by their manufacturer’s warranty. Classic to Modern Muscle Cars, LLC DOES NOT sell or offer warranty on any goods other than the manufacturer’s warranty. All warranty claims must be made before the parts are installed. Due to the nature of their use, race parts are not covered by warranty once they have been used. When it has been determined the part(s) is defective, we will either replace or send you a refund. No refund will be given on shipping charges, installations and/or removal of the parts.

Any product(s) returned that DOES NOT meet these criteria (failed return inspection) may be subjected to additional handling fees or refusal. The product must return in a re-saleable condition (as new, not used condition). If product(s) fails return inspection, refund will be denied. This product(s) is yours and you will need to pay additional shipping cost to be returned to you again. Any product(s) left abandon for 30 days after a failed returned inspection will be discarded. 2) Pack the product(s) carefully to avoid any damages during shipping. Always use a sturdy shipping carton to ship the product(s) back. Print your RGA number on the outside of the shipping carton. Please DO NOT write on, use tape and/or affix shipping labels to the product(s) packages itself, product(s) must return to stock and we cannot sell product with a defaced packaging. Return shipping fees are at the customer’s expense and no refund on shipping cost to and from the customer.

3) You will need to send me the invoice number or better yet, a copy of the original invoice showing when the product(s) was purchased. Please include this information with the merchandise you are returning. Returns will be assessed a 20% Restocking Fee for Nu-Relics product(s) (depending on the manufacturer restocking fees may vary, contact me for more details on each manufacturer’s restocking fees). We are very sorry, but we CAN NOT accept returns on special orders and/or non-stocking product(s) and/or wheels that had tires mounted.

4) Falsifying any claims on eBay will result in the buyer being reported for abuse of policies, terms and conditions. Returns and/or exchanges and/or warranty and/or buyers protection possibly be voided and/or denied.

Cancellation…

1) Cancellation must be made before your order is marked shipped (contact me right away once you want to cancel your order)

2) Once an item is marked as shipped, it cannot be cancelled (must wait for the package to arrive to request a return)

Manufacturer’s Defects…

Unfortunately, as much as each manufacturer does everything, they can to bring you the best product(s) they can offer, manufacturer’s defects do happen. We all hope those parts will never find their way onto our projects. But when they do, what to do if one of these defects find its way to you. While those parts will be replaced, there is a process. Since I do not offer warranty other than the manufacturer’s warranty. Each manufacturer has a specific way on how they process defect exchanges. Each manufacturer’s defect case is handled uniquely to each case. As much as we try to streamline it. Sometimes this does not go as plan. Please try to follow and understand the next few steps to ensure the defective product(s) is exchanged as smoothly as possible.

1) If you have manufacturer’s defect product(s), please document the defect by taking pictures and/or video and/or taking notes.

2) Contact us with the issue/defect and try your best to explain the defect as soon as possible. Also send pictures, video and/or notes you have taken.

3) Not every return/exchange needs to have a case open (cases are mostly for when you have no communication between the buyer and seller)

4) I will need to bring these defects to the manufacturer’s attention. This may take from moments to a day or two for the manufacturer to reply to the claim of ‘Manufacturer’s Defect’. Each manufacturer has an investigation process, it can only go as fast as manufacturer process these claims.

5) I will communicate with you on each step the manufacturer brings to my attention. Sometimes this may take a few messages from me to the buyer and/or a few messages from me to the manufacturer. While some manufacturers prefer you to contact them directly with defect claims, other manufacturers prefer you work with the retailer you purchase your product(s) with.

6) If you choose to work directly with the manufacturer with your claim. I can not be held liable or responsible with the manufacturer’s actions or conclusions of your claim(s) since I have been taken out of the loop of communication. You will need to complete the entire claim with the manufacturer.

The steps above are just a few guides to help with exchanging or returning of a manufacturer’s defects. Not all manufacturer process cases the same, the process can go very smoothly while other may not. Your patience will be very grateful.

ACI Motors are Reverse Polarity:

This means that the ground for the system must come out of the master switch. There are 2 poles on the motor – to make it operate, you must put power to one side and ground on the other side (NOT the motor’s case). This will result in the motor turning in one direction. By swapping the wires from side to side, the direction will change

Fuses or Circuit Breakers – 30 Amps:

Most of Nu-Relics harnesses will come with an in-line 30 Amp fuse. If you prefer, a circuit breaker will work too. You can hook your windows up to a variety of different power sources

Powering Wire Options:

> Straight to the battery (windows should not have any battery draw when not in use)

> Extra slot on the fuse panel (tie in using supplied fuse)

> Pull power from a switched power source (make sure this power source will not overload by adding this kit)

Relays:

In most cases, you will not need to use a relay to boost amperage to the motors. The switches and wiring Nu-Relics uses can handle the amp draws

Grease & Oil:

> On the regulator gear teeth & roller tracks, Nu-Relics recommend using high temp automotive wheel and chassis lubricant

> Avoid the older soap bases lithium grease (it sets up hard in cold weather making window harder to move)

> A few drops of light weight oil in the pivot points will allow the bronze Oilite® bushings to work smoothly and reduce wear

> On fuzzy runs and weather stripping. some 3M Silicone spray can help break in

> Use Die-Electric grease or Tuner Lube on all terminals and connections. This helps prevent & protects against moisture and corrosion

Notes:

The front door regulator mounts into the original power regulator mounting holes. Picture included in the kit for assist with location

The kit’s ACI motors are reverse polarity motors and require reverse polarity switches. Reverse polarity means that the ground is within the wiring harness rather than off the motor. The easiest way to determine if you have a reverse polarity switches is to look at the number of poles on the back of a single switch. You must have 5 or more poles to have reverse polarity switch.

Cancellation…

Manufacturer’s Defects…

Unfortunately, as much as each manufacturer does everything, they can to bring you the best product(s) they can offer, manufacturer’s defects do happen. We all hope those parts will never find their way onto our projects. But when they do, what to do if one of these defects find its way to you. While those parts will be replaced, there is a process. Since I do not offer warranty other than the manufacturer’s warranty. Each manufacturer has a specific way on how they process defect exchanges. Each manufacturer’s defect case is handled uniquely to each case. As much as we try to streamline it. Sometimes this does not go as plan. Please try to follow and understand the next few steps to ensure the defective product(s) is exchanged as smoothly as possible.

1) If you have manufacturer’s defect product(s), please document the defect by taking pictures and/or video and/or taking notes.

2) Contact us with the issue/defect and try your best to explain the defect as soon as possible. Also send pictures, video and/or notes you have taken.

3) Not every return/exchange needs to have a case open (cases are mostly for when you have no communication between the buyer and seller)

4) I will need to bring these defects to the manufacturer’s attention. This may take from moments to a day or two for the manufacturer to reply to the claim of ‘Manufacturer’s Defect’. Each manufacturer has an investigation process, it can only go as fast as manufacturer process these claims.

5) I will communicate with you on each step the manufacturer brings to my attention. Sometimes this may take a few messages from me to the buyer and/or a few messages from me to the manufacturer. While some manufacturers prefer you to contact them directly with defect claims, other manufacturers prefer you work with the retailer you purchase your product(s) with.

6) If you choose to work directly with the manufacturer with your claim. I can not be held liable or responsible with the manufacturer’s actions or conclusions of your claim(s) since I have been taken out of the loop of communication. You will need to complete the entire claim with the manufacturer.

The steps above are just a few guides to help with exchanging or returning of a manufacturer’s defects. Not all manufacturer process cases the same, the process can go very smoothly while other may not. Your patience will be very grateful.

48 STATES ONLY

I only sell in the 48 states.  I ONLY ship to the 48 states to buyers with US ADDRESSES AND US BANK ACCOUNTS.  This is due to buyers who try to “bend” the rules to get around auction restrictions.  Just because you are trying to use a buddies address in the 48 states, that does not fix the extra fees paypal charges for payments from out of the US.  Since almost ALL of my Neg. FB’s over the last few years have come from buyers out of the US trying to “bend” the rules, I have been forced to do this.  As long as you have a US address with a US back acct., everything will work just as the system is designed.  If you do have a US bank acct. and you are using a third party in the US to ship to and handle your packages, it will be at the buyers risk.  I will not assume any responsibility for damage for any item that goes through a third party.

MY BUSINESS STRUCTURE

I have been selling classic cars and parts for over 25 years.  I have hundreds of cars in stock.  I get dozens of e-mails and phone calls every week on parts.  E-mails that are not clear about what you want to know, I don’t have time to answer.  Questions must be clear and to the point about the part and what you want to know and I will get back to you.  I don’t have time to try and guess what you want to know.  I ship a lot of parts every week.  Only a small fraction of my inventory ever ends up on e-bay.  I have my own UPS acct, I DO NOT SHIP THROUGH E-BAY because only part of what I sell is on e-bay.  That means you need to contact me directly with any shipping questions.

PAYMENT

I do accept paypal for payment, but I will not accept payments that are e-checks or have un-confirmed shipping addresses or non-verified payments.  Any payments that are flagged with any of these issues,  will be cancelled.  This is due to the way paypals system works. 

SHIPPING COSTS

My shipping quotes are designed to cover my costs of shipping.  This is obviously designed to cover the cost of shipping, but it includes several other items also.  This includes gathering and storing boxes from local body shops, tape, supplies, and a lot of time.  Buyers also need to remember e-bay is also now charging final value fees on shipping costs.  This was due to people listing items at a low price and making up the difference with extra high shipping.  These extra expenses trickle all the way down the pipe and must be taken into consideration when I decide what the starting price is on an auction.  If the shipping price on the auction is not acceptable, don’t bid on the part.  I am not getting rich on freight, but I am not going to lose money on it either.

SHIPPING

The only reason my shipping time is so long is because I am tired of e-mails from people who do not understand that weekends and holidays are NOT working days.  My normal shipping day is Friday every week and as long as the part is paid for by Thurs night, I will ship it that Friday.  With the exception of Holidays, I almost always ship on Fridays.  Anything paid for by Thurs. night will be processed for Fridays shipment.  Anything paid for after Thurs. night will not ship until the following Friday.  If I am out of town on a Friday, I will catch up any shipments from the past week on the following Mon. or Tues.  I do combine shipping AS LONG AS THE ITEMS CAN BE SHIPPED TOGETHER SAFELY!  Standard shipping takes 8-10 WORKING days.  Weather conditions do affect shipping and can delay shipments.  I use UPS and USPS for shipping.  Buyers can always pick up here also.

Freight shipments have to be scheduled for pickup, so freight goes out whenever it is ready and I can get a pickup scheduled.

SHEETMETAL

Sheetmetal typically has to be shipped Frt.  Smaller pieces may go standard or oversized UPS, it will just depend on the piece.  However it is shipped, there is always the possibility of dings, dents, or rolled corners or edges in shipping.  The only way to avoid the possibility of any dents or damage is to have the part or parts crated.  Crating is up to the buyer and the buyer is responsible for the extra charges.  The shipping quote that I will give you will only cover boxing a part,  crating is extra and the buyers responsibility.  Crating starts at $100.00 per order and goes up from there depending on the order.

FREIGHT SHIPPING

Large items such as fenders, doors, hoods, etc. will usually need to be shipped UPS oversized or by truck lines.  Some items are better shipping oversized UPS, some have to go truck lines.  There is no way to determine the actual shipping costs until the part is packaged.  Items that will go oversized UPS can be delivered to residential addresses and will usually ship for $100.00-$150.00.  Items that are too large for UPS oversized, will have to go UPS freight.  

Freight does require a commercial business address for the best rates.  Addresses are checked using Google maps.  Only addresses located in accessible business districts are considered commercial, the garage behind your house is not.  There are additional charges for residential deliveries.  Residential deliveries also REQUIRE and phone number so the freight company can make delivery arrangements with you. 

Freight shipping usually runs around $140.00 for a commercial address and $190.00 for residential.  Those numbers can fluctuate, but that is about what freight shipping has been lately on sheetmetal.  I do NOT have Greyhound here.

Heavy parts such as engines, trans, etc. will have to be quoted individually.

VEHICLES AND CABS

Buyers have 60 days of free outside storage at the buyers risk.  After 60 days, a storage fee will apply.  If storage fees exceed the purchase price, the vehicle/cab ownership will return to me.  Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements.  I do have names and number of transporters that have been here before that I can forward on to interested buyers.

I only sell in the 48 states.  I ONLY ship to the 48 states to buyers with US ADDRESSES AND US BANK ACCOUNTS.  This is due to buyers who try to “bend” the rules to get around auction restrictions.  Just because you are trying to use a buddies address in the 48 states, that does not fix the extra fees paypal charges for payments from out of the US.  Since almost ALL of my Neg. FB’s over the last few years have come from buyers out of the US trying to “bend” the rules, I have been forced to do this.  As long as you have a US address with a US back acct., everything will work just as the system is designed.  If you do have a US bank acct. and you are using a third party in the US to ship to and handle your packages, it will be at the buyers risk.  I will not assume any responsibility for damage for any item that goes through a third party.

MY BUSINESS STRUCTURE

I have been selling classic cars and parts for over 25 years.  I have hundreds of cars in stock.  I get dozens of e-mails and phone calls every week on parts.  E-mails that are not clear about what you want to know, I don’t have time to answer.  Questions must be clear and to the point about the part and what you want to know and I will get back to you.  I don’t have time to try and guess what you want to know.  I ship a lot of parts every week.  Only a small fraction of my inventory ever ends up on e-bay.  I have my own UPS acct, I DO NOT SHIP THROUGH E-BAY because only part of what I sell is on e-bay.  That means you need to contact me directly with any shipping questions.

PAYMENT

I do accept paypal for payment, but I will not accept payments that are e-checks or have un-confirmed shipping addresses or non-verified payments.  Any payments that are flagged with any of these issues,  will be cancelled.  This is due to the way paypals system works. 

SHIPPING COSTS

My shipping quotes are designed to cover my costs of shipping.  This is obviously designed to cover the cost of shipping, but it includes several other items also.  This includes gathering and storing boxes from local body shops, tape, supplies, and a lot of time.  Buyers also need to remember e-bay is also now charging final value fees on shipping costs.  This was due to people listing items at a low price and making up the difference with extra high shipping.  These extra expenses trickle all the way down the pipe and must be taken into consideration when I decide what the starting price is on an auction.  If the shipping price on the auction is not acceptable, don’t bid on the part.  I am not getting rich on freight, but I am not going to lose money on it either.

SHIPPING

The only reason my shipping time is so long is because I am tired of e-mails from people who do not understand that weekends and holidays are NOT working days.  My normal shipping day is Friday every week and as long as the part is paid for by Thurs night, I will ship it that Friday.  With the exception of Holidays, I almost always ship on Fridays.  Anything paid for by Thurs. night will be processed for Fridays shipment.  Anything paid for after Thurs. night will not ship until the following Friday.  If I am out of town on a Friday, I will catch up any shipments from the past week on the following Mon. or Tues.  I do combine shipping AS LONG AS THE ITEMS CAN BE SHIPPED TOGETHER SAFELY!  Standard shipping takes 8-10 WORKING days.  Weather conditions do affect shipping and can delay shipments.  I use UPS and USPS for shipping.  Buyers can always pick up here also.

Freight shipments have to be scheduled for pickup, so freight goes out whenever it is ready and I can get a pickup scheduled.

SHEETMETAL

Sheetmetal typically has to be shipped Frt.  Smaller pieces may go standard or oversized UPS, it will just depend on the piece.  However it is shipped, there is always the possibility of dings, dents, or rolled corners or edges in shipping.  The only way to avoid the possibility of any dents or damage is to have the part or parts crated.  Crating is up to the buyer and the buyer is responsible for the extra charges.  The shipping quote that I will give you will only cover boxing a part,  crating is extra and the buyers responsibility.  Crating starts at $100.00 per order and goes up from there depending on the order.

FREIGHT SHIPPING

Large items such as fenders, doors, hoods, etc. will usually need to be shipped UPS oversized or by truck lines.  Some items are better shipping oversized UPS, some have to go truck lines.  There is no way to determine the actual shipping costs until the part is packaged.  Items that will go oversized UPS can be delivered to residential addresses and will usually ship for $100.00-$150.00.  Items that are too large for UPS oversized, will have to go UPS freight.  

Freight does require a commercial business address for the best rates.  Addresses are checked using Google maps.  Only addresses located in accessible business districts are considered commercial, the garage behind your house is not.  There are additional charges for residential deliveries.  Residential deliveries also REQUIRE and phone number so the freight company can make delivery arrangements with you. 

Freight shipping usually runs around $140.00 for a commercial address and $190.00 for residential.  Those numbers can fluctuate, but that is about what freight shipping has been lately on sheetmetal.  I do NOT have Greyhound here.

Heavy parts such as engines, trans, etc. will have to be quoted individually.

VEHICLES AND CABS

Buyers have 60 days of free outside storage at the buyers risk.  After 60 days, a storage fee will apply.  If storage fees exceed the purchase price, the vehicle/cab ownership will return to me.  Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements.  I do have names and number of transporters that have been here before that I can forward on to interested buyers.

Tech Specs:

ACI Motors with No Load Amperage: 3 Amps

ACI Motors with Low Load Amperage: 5 Amps

ACI Motors with High Load Amperage: 11 Amps

ACI Motors Stall Amperage: 20 Amps

ACI Motors are Reverse Polarity:

This means that the ground for the system must come out of the master switch. There are 2 poles on the motor – to make it operate, you must put power to one side and ground on the other side (NOT the motor’s case). This will result in the motor turning in one direction. By swapping the wires from side to side, the direction will change

Fuses or Circuit Breakers – 30 Amps:

Most of Nu-Relics harnesses will come with an in-line 30 Amp fuse. If you prefer, a circuit breaker will work too. You can hook your windows up to a variety of different power sources

Powering Wire Options:

> Straight to the battery (windows should not have any battery draw when not in use)

> Extra slot on the fuse panel (tie in using supplied fuse)

> Pull power from a switched power source (make sure this power source will not overload by adding this kit)

Relays:

In most cases, you will not need to use a relay to boost amperage to the motors. The switches and wiring Nu-Relics uses can handle the amp draws

Grease & Oil:

> On the regulator gear teeth & roller tracks, Nu-Relics recommend using high temp automotive wheel and chassis lubricant

> Avoid the older soap bases lithium grease (it sets up hard in cold weather making window harder to move)

> A few drops of light weight oil in the pivot points will allow the bronze Oilite® bushings to work smoothly and reduce wear

> On fuzzy runs and weather stripping. some 3M Silicone spray can help break in

> Use Die-Electric grease or Tuner Lube on all terminals and connections. This helps prevent & protects against moisture and corrosion

Notes:

The front door regulator mounts into the original power regulator mounting holes. Picture included in the kit for assist with location

The kit’s ACI motors are reverse polarity motors and require reverse polarity switches. Reverse polarity means that the ground is within the wiring harness rather than off the motor. The easiest way to determine if you have a reverse polarity switches is to look at the number of poles on the back of a single switch. You must have 5 or more poles to have reverse polarity switch.

I use all three major shipping companies here in the United States. FedEx, UPS and USPS. Not all product(s) can use just one shipping method due to size, weight and/or origin of the product. Manufacturer’s Defects…

Unfortunately, as much as each manufacturer does everything, they can to bring you the best product(s) they can offer, manufacturer’s defects do happen. We all hope those parts will never find their way onto our projects. But when they do, what to do if one of these defects find its way to you. While those parts will be replaced, there is a process. Since I do not offer warranty other than the manufacturer’s warranty. Each manufacturer has a specific way on how they process defect exchanges. Each manufacturer’s defect case is handled uniquely to each case. As much as we try to streamline it. Sometimes this does not go as plan. Please try to follow and understand the next few steps to ensure the defective product(s) is exchanged as smoothly as possible.

1) If you have manufacturer’s defect product(s), please document the defect by taking pictures and/or video and/or taking notes.

2) Contact us with the issue/defect and try your best to explain the defect as soon as possible. Also send pictures, video and/or notes you have taken.

3) Not every return/exchange needs to have a case open (cases are mostly for when you have no communication between the buyer and seller)

4) I will need to bring these defects to the manufacturer’s attention. This may take from moments to a day or two for the manufacturer to reply to the claim of ‘Manufacturer’s Defect’. Each manufacturer has an investigation process, it can only go as fast as manufacturer process these claims.

5) I will communicate with you on each step the manufacturer brings to my attention. Sometimes this may take a few messages from me to the buyer and/or a few messages from me to the manufacturer. While some manufacturers prefer you to contact them directly with defect claims, other manufacturers prefer you work with the retailer you purchase your product(s) with.

6) If you choose to work directly with the manufacturer with your claim. I can not be held liable or responsible with the manufacturer’s actions or conclusions of your claim(s) since I have been taken out of the loop of communication. You will need to complete the entire claim with the manufacturer.

The steps above are just a few guides to help with exchanging or returning of a manufacturer’s defects. Not all manufacturer process cases the same, the process can go very smoothly while other may not. Your patience will be very grateful.

Shipments within the Continental USA

Most of our products ship via FedEx Ground or USPS, but we also utilize other convenient and cost effective shipping services.  All  orders are shipped within 24 to 48 hours of receipt. States close to Michigan usually receive shipments within a few days, west coast orders can take up to 5 days.

Hawaii and Alaska Orders

All Canada, Hawaii and Alaska orders will be shipped by postal carrier. The cost of shipping to Canada must be determined after the order is initially placed. All international orders are handled via eBay's Global Shipping Program. International shipments can at times take several weeks to get throught customs so please keep this in consideration.

Returns & Refunds

Motorcity Muscle Car stock items may be returned within thirty (30) days from the purchase date. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge. Shipped costs must be prepaid and merchandise must be in resalable condition (see below). Returned items must be in new/unused/resalable condition and must be accompanied by a copy of the ebay order or full legal name of seller, eBay user ID and email address for us to process any claim. No returns will be accepted after 30 days from the purchase date. No returns will be accepted for any portion of a complete set.

We do not provide call tag service for parts pickup. The customer will pay freight on all return orders. Mailbox stores charge service and packing fees that are not refundable by Motorcity Muscle Car.

Resalable Condition

All returned goods are to be in resalable condition. This means we will not accept a part used on a car, greasy, damaged, bent or without the original box. Resalable means in the same condition as you received it in.

Damaged Packages - Shipping

Report damaged packages immediately by sending a message through the seller link. Please include pictures of the damaged product AND package in your message. Damages MUST be reported WITHIN 48 HOURS of receipt of the order. 

Shortages or Incorrect Orders

If there is a mistake on your order, contact us immediately via message though the seller link and we will make arrangements for the exchange of the correct items. Count and confirm all items in sealed bags BEFORE opening that bag. Shortages or other issues must be reported WITHIN 48 HOURS of receipt of the order.

Limited Warranties

Motorcity Muscle Car warrants that goods sold by it shall be free from defects in material and workmanship, and shall conform to all applicable specifications and drawings. Motorcity Muscle Car liability, whether based on breach of warranty of contract or negligence in manufacturing, shall by limited to replacement or repair (at Motorcity Muscle Car inspection) of the defective or nonconforming goods, or (at Motorcity Muscle Car election) refund of the purchase price. This warranty shall apply, and Motorcity Muscle Car shall be liable for replacement, repair, or refund, only if the buyer has given Motorcity Super Cars written notice of the defect or nonconformity within 30 days after the delivery of goods to buyer. Motorcity Muscle Car assumes no liability over the results of the use of any goods purchased from Motorcity Muscle Car including, without limitation, their use in combination with other components, assemblies or products, or their suitability for a particular environment. The foregoing constitutes the sole and exclusive warranty of Motorcity Muscle Car and the sole and exclusive remedy of the buyer, and is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, as to merchantability, fitness for the purpose sold, description, quality, or any other matter. Without limiting the foregoing, Motorcity Muscle Car shall in no way be liable for loss of use or profit, or for other collateral, special or consequential damages. Any warranty given by any other manufacturer or supplier of goods sold or of component parts thereof is assigned by Motorcity Muscle Car to the buyer to the extent permissible under law and terms of such warranty.

My advertised prices include all e-bay charges, listing, final value, and payment fees.  Original rear air dam with upper glass hinges for a late 70’s-early 80’s era GM G Body station wagon.  The air dam is not chipped or broken and it will refinish nicely.  The hinges are not broken, but the chrome is getting thin in spots.  Hard to find, original piece selling as is.

I cannot discuss parts that are not listed on e-bay on an e-bay e-mail.  I am only allowed to discuss the parts that are currently listed on e-bay e-mails.  E-mails about parts other than currently listed parts will not be answered.  I delete e-mails almost every day about parts that I have in stock because the request was sent on an e-bay message.  I know I can list a part someone asks about at a later time, but with hundreds of cars in stock and dozens of e-mails a day on parts, that is not possible.

48 STATES ONLY

I only sell in the 48 states.  I ONLY ship to the 48 states to buyers with US ADDRESSES AND US BANK ACCOUNTS.  This is due to buyers who try to “bend” the rules to get around auction restrictions.  Just because you are trying to use a buddies address in the 48 states, that does not fix the extra fees paypal charges for payments from out of the US.  Since almost ALL of my Neg. FB’s over the last few years have come from buyers out of the US trying to “bend” the rules, I have been forced to do this.  As long as you have a US address with a US back acct., everything will work just as the system is designed.  If you do have a US bank acct. and you are using a third party in the US to ship to and handle your packages, it will be at the buyers risk.  I will not assume any responsibility for damage for any item that goes through a third party.

MY BUSINESS STRUCTURE

I have been selling classic cars and parts for over 25 years.  I have hundreds of cars in stock.  I get dozens of e-mails and phone calls every week on parts.  E-mails that are not clear about what you want to know, I don’t have time to answer.  Questions must be clear and to the point about the part and what you want to know and I will get back to you.  I don’t have time to try and guess what you want to know.  I ship a lot of parts every week.  Only a small fraction of my inventory ever ends up on e-bay.  I have my own UPS acct, I DO NOT SHIP THROUGH E-BAY because only part of what I sell is on e-bay.  That means you need to contact me directly with any shipping questions.

PAYMENT

I do accept paypal for payment, but I will not accept payments that are e-checks or have un-confirmed shipping addresses or non-verified payments.  Any payments that are flagged with any of these issues,  will be cancelled.  This is due to the way paypals system works. 

SHIPPING COSTS

My shipping quotes are designed to cover my costs of shipping.  This is obviously designed to cover the cost of shipping, but it includes several other items also.  This includes gathering and storing boxes from local body shops, tape, supplies, and a lot of time.  Buyers also need to remember e-bay is also now charging final value fees on shipping costs.  This was due to people listing items at a low price and making up the difference with extra high shipping.  These extra expenses trickle all the way down the pipe and must be taken into consideration when I decide what the starting price is on an auction.  If the shipping price on the auction is not acceptable, don’t bid on the part.  I am not getting rich on freight, but I am not going to lose money on it either.

SHIPPING

The only reason my shipping time is so long is because I am tired of e-mails from people who do not understand that weekends and holidays are NOT working days.  My normal shipping day is Friday every week and as long as the part is paid for by Thurs night, I will ship it that Friday.  With the exception of Holidays, I almost always ship on Fridays.  Anything paid for by Thurs. night will be processed for Fridays shipment.  Anything paid for after Thurs. night will not ship until the following Friday.  If I am out of town on a Friday, I will catch up any shipments from the past week on the following Mon. or Tues.  I do combine shipping AS LONG AS THE ITEMS CAN BE SHIPPED TOGETHER SAFELY!  Standard shipping takes 8-10 WORKING days.  Weather conditions do affect shipping and can delay shipments.  I use UPS and USPS for shipping.  Buyers can always pick up here also.

Freight shipments have to be scheduled for pickup, so freight goes out whenever it is ready and I can get a pickup scheduled.

SHEETMETAL

Sheetmetal typically has to be shipped Frt.  Smaller pieces may go standard or oversized UPS, it will just depend on the piece.  However it is shipped, there is always the possibility of dings, dents, or rolled corners or edges in shipping.  The only way to avoid the possibility of any dents or damage is to have the part or parts crated.  Crating is up to the buyer and the buyer is responsible for the extra charges.  The shipping quote that I will give you will only cover boxing a part,  crating is extra and the buyers responsibility.  Crating starts at $100.00 per order and goes up from there depending on the order.

FREIGHT SHIPPING

Large items such as fenders, doors, hoods, etc. will usually need to be shipped UPS oversized or by truck lines.  Some items are better shipping oversized UPS, some have to go truck lines.  There is no way to determine the actual shipping costs until the part is packaged.  Items that will go oversized UPS can be delivered to residential addresses and will usually ship for $100.00-$150.00.  Items that are too large for UPS oversized, will have to go UPS freight.  

Freight does require a commercial business address for the best rates.  Addresses are checked using Google maps.  Only addresses located in accessible business districts are considered commercial, the garage behind your house is not.  There are additional charges for residential deliveries.  Residential deliveries also REQUIRE and phone number so the freight company can make delivery arrangements with you. 

Freight shipping usually runs around $140.00 for a commercial address and $190.00 for residential.  Those numbers can fluctuate, but that is about what freight shipping has been lately on sheetmetal.  I do NOT have Greyhound here.

Heavy parts such as engines, trans, etc. will have to be quoted individually.

VEHICLES AND CABS

Buyers have 60 days of free outside storage at the buyers risk.  After 60 days, a storage fee will apply.  If storage fees exceed the purchase price, the vehicle/cab ownership will return to me.  Buyers are responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements.  I do have names and number of transporters that have been here before that I can forward on to interested buyers.
