This 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Brougham coupe was sold new at Boyd A. Peterson Oldsmobile in Los Angeles, California, and reportedly remained with the original owner until the seller’s acquisition in 2022. The harmonic balancer was replaced in April 2024. Finished in brown and light brown over brown velour upholstery, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 mated to a three-speed automatic transaxle. Equipment includes power steering, power front disc brakes, 13″ steel wheels, and wire spoke wheel covers. The cabin is outfitted with power windows, air conditioning, and a Delco AM/FM stereo.

The car was repainted in two-tone brown under prior ownership and details include a hood ornament, a fender-mounted antenna, bright rocker and wheel arch moldings, and a single exhaust outlet.

The 13″ steel wheels wear wire spoke hubcaps and are wrapped in 185/70 Toyo Eclipse tires showing 2022 date codes. The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The seating surfaces are trimmed in button-tufted brown velour upholstery and interior elements include a center console and armrest, woodgrain trim, air conditioning, and an AM/FM stereo.

The two-spoke steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames an 85-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge. The mechanical odometer shows 81k miles, approximately 500 of which were added during current ownership.

The 3.0-liter V6 was factory rated at 110 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque. Recent service includes replacing the fuel tank, fuel pump, water pump, alternator, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, drive belts, and the battery in November 2023 as well as an oil pressure switch and harmonic balancer replacement in December 2023 and April 2024 respectively. The seller also states the carburetor has been adjusted and an O2 sensor was replaced.

Power is sent to the front wheels through a three-speed automatic transaxle. The transaxle oil pan gasket was replaced in November 2023
