My right valve cover was badly rusted. I bought a set of clean valve covers, but only used the right side. This valve cover is from a 1987-1992 Camaro. The same cover is used on the 1987-1988 G body with the 305G or 305H, 1987-1990 (later?) B body with 305 or 350, and 1987-1991 RV1 platforms with either the 305 or 350. It may fit some neighboring years that I am unable to confirm.

Please look at the picture carefully. These valve covers came in different configurations, look very similar, and are easily confused as being the same. This valve cover mounts with the oil filler cap at the rear when mounted on the left side of the engine. If put on the right side of the engine, the oil filler cap will be at the front. The valve cover cannot be reversed on the same side like 1957-1986 valve covers. A valve cover was made that is the opposite configuration and is used on trucks, vans, and some crate engines; I found out the hard way.
