Info

The UMI P/N 3046 brake conversion bracket is designed to mount 1997-2013 C5 or C6 front calipers and rotors to the 1978-1988 GM G-Body factory spindle. Conversion brackets are CNC laser cut from 3/8” thick mild steel and feature a heavy duty black powder coat finish. Each kit includes Grade 10.9 mounting hardware and complete detailed installation instructions. Supplied installation instructions included detailed list of GM part numbers needed to complete the brake grade upgrade. 17” wheels needed for C5 brakes and 18” wheels for C6. As with all UMI Performance products, these brackets are 100% manufactured, tested and raced out of Philipsburg, PA – USA.

Adapts C5/C6 caliper to factory spindle. Slight modification of spindle required.

Uses turned down GM G-Body hub/rotor or Wilwood 270-12304. Wilwood hubs available from UMI Performance.

Used on UMI’s Green Machine Monte Carlo. Track tested in brutal conditions.

Kit includes brackets, bracket mounting hardware and detailed instructions.

Note: Requires slight modification to factory spindle. Installation requires a hub. Hub can be a GM G-Body rotor turned down or Wilwood P/N 270-12304. All other items needed to complete the installation are GM P/N’s. Instructions include detailed P/N list.

Our boxed front lower control arms for the 2003-2009 Dodge Ram 4×4 2500 and 3500 outperform the flexible, stamped steel control arms with soft rubber bushings that come from the factory.

Eliminate wheel hop, steering wander, and increase traction with an easy bolt on installation. All of the ends are fitted with grease fittings for easy lubrication of the low deflection fluted polyurethane bushings.

Our boxed front lower control arms are constructed of CNC cut 2.00″ x 1.50″ x .120″ wall rectangular tubing, and are 100% TIG welded for the ultimate in strength, durability, and a trick appearance.

These front lower control arms are built with an inboard offset to provide maximum front tire clearance. When running larger tires they can rub against the factory front lower control arms at full steering lock, our offset design eliminates that problem.

They’re available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

Front Eccentric Cam Bolts Included: We have yet to put these on a truck that we did not have to cut off the front mounting bolts. Due to the design of the factory’s front cam bolts, water can enter through the side of the bolt causing it to rust fast to the bolt sleeve inside of the front control arm bushing.

You get your truck all tore apart and then you have to take a trip to the Dodge dealer, find and order the bolts you need, and then wait a few days (or weeks) for them to come in. Since we already know you will need new front cam bolts, this front lower control arm package includes two (2) new super strength Grade 12.9 cam bolts, two (2) new cam washers, and two (2) new “Top Lock” flanged lock nuts (see the second picture). Remember that when looking at our price!

If you’ll be removing your factory front upper a-arm ball joints to install them on to a set of aftermarket upper a-arms, you’ll need this hardware mounting kit.

This kit is also a great quality mounting hardware kit to be used in place of the cheap 3Â¢ Chinese nuts and bolts that come with most replacement ball joints.

Our kit supplies you with all of the hardware you will need to bolt both front upper ball joints on to the front upper a-arms in place of the factory rivets.

Our front upper ball joint mounting hardware kit includes:

The Mountain Goat Series™ front track bar relocation bracket is a necessary upgrade on any Jeep© JK Wrangler that is lifted 3.0″ or more. Our front track bar relocation bracket is designed for lift heights from 3.0″-4.5″ and can be used on lifts up to 6.0″ if combined with an adjustable front track bar like our Part# JK-117.

Our front track bar relocation bracket for the Jeep© JK Wrangler mounts to the front axle housing and axle tube and is designed to be extremely rigid and durable. This is accomplished by anchoring the bracket in multiple locations to evenly and securely distribute the forces of the front track bar. This design reinforces the factory mounting bracket that is prone to failure providing for dependable performance in any conditions.

Our front track bar relocation bracket greatly improves a lifted Jeep© JK’s drivability by restoring the proper roll center of the vehicle which in turn reduces front body roll. It raises the mounting point on the front axle housing to reduce the operating angle of the front track bar. It returns the mounting point on the front axle housing to a neutral position, this eliminates binding problems that lead to premature bushing failure and helps keep the front axle housing centered. By keeping the front track bar closer to horizontal, the front suspension behaves more predictably to road conditions and handling is vastly improved.

Our front track bar relocation bracket is compatible with virtually any suspension system, from 3.0″-6.0″ of lift. It is compatible with the factory front track bar for 3.0″-4.5″ lifts and with aftermarket adjustable front track bars for 3.0″-6.0″ lifts.

The raised mounting point allows for proper horizontal geometry of the front track bar and lateral centering of the front axle housing when lifted. If you are lifted, it is best to use this front track bar relocation bracket in conjunction with an adjustable front track bar such as our Part# JK-117.

Our front track bar relocation bracket includes a CNC laser cut and formed 3/16″ steel front steering stabilizer relocation bracket that flips the steering stabilizer to the top of the tie rod to improve ground clearance and prevent damage of the steering stabilizer from rocks and trail debris.

Manufactured from CNC laser cut and formed high strength 3/16″ and 1/4″ steel plate, our front track bar relocation bracket is precison formed on an 8 axis CNC press brake to ensure proper geometry and an easy 100% bolt in installation. It is powder coated gloss black for optimum corrosion protection and a brilliant and durable finish. All required mounting hardware is included.

Technical Recommendations:

Must be used with minimum 3″ tall front bump stop extensions.
For optimum steering geometry, roll center geometry, and bump-steer prevention, you must install a high steer flipped front drag link. If you do not already have a high steer flipped front drag link you can purchase our Part# JK-HSCK1 high steer correction kit that includes this Part# JK-130 front track bar relocation bracket and our Part# JK-HSDL-1375 extreme duty high steer drag link all in one package.
