78-88 G-Body / A-Body Rear Brake Cylinder Braces – Brand new braces, each lot consists of a pair of braces (2) one for each rear brake assembly (L&R).
The rear brake cylinders on these vehicles are fastened in place via a round metal retaining clip that snaps in place retaining the brake cylinder to the backing plates. During hard braking the brake cylinders have a tendency to rotate which may cause the rear brakes to lockup prematurely.
This a simple bolt on modification that keeps the rear brake cylinders fastened tight and from rotating.
