I am selling my 1981 Chevy Malibu with the original 3.8 Buick engine and 200 Metric 3 speed automatic transmission. The car reads 27k miles, but I am sure it is 127k. I bought this car out of California around 4 years ago. It still had the original California Pink slip title. Car has been garaged its entire life and still has the original weatherstripping and window sweeps. No cracks in the dash. The seats are clean and original. The carpet and both lower door panels have been replaced. The carpet was falling apart for some reason I have had many G body cars and had never seen that before. And the door panels looked like they may have had a small dog that scratched the plastic, so I replaced them. As far as the body I would say it’s a 50% original paint and 50% has been painted for whatever reason in its past. All new suspension, steering, and 235/60/15 Copper Cobra tires. The car has a Limited slip rear end with 3.73 gears out of a 10k mile Monte Carlo SS. I was getting ready to swap in a 383 and 200-4R I have for it. So, it is a bit too much gear for the little 3.8, but under 60 she does great. Runs and drives good as is but is ready for someone to drop in their drivetrain. I cannot stress enough how clean the undercarriage and body are. Absolutely NO RUST anywhere, ever.  I am only selling because I also own a 1978 Malibu that I have had for 26 years and recently bought a 24 Mustang GT and do not really have the room for all three.  I am asking $18,000 or make me an offer.
