1978-1988 Gbody Monte Regal Cutlass Front Window Molding Trim 3 Piece GM OEM
This used OEM 3 piece front window trim was removed from a Cutlass and would make a good driver quality replacement. This will fit all 1978 – 1988 G-body applications. There is some scuffs and surface scratches from previous installation and would benefit from a polish to restore natural shine. There are the beginning stages of pitting to finish as pictured which can be offset with a detail. Mounting areas are all intact. Please refer to the photos for more details. Power steering and power brakes (discs in front, drums in rear)This car has been very well maintained and garaged kept. No rust on the body or frame. Original vinyl interior with bucket seats, middle console and floor shifter. Power windows only. No optioned with a tilt column. All warning lights- temp, volt, and general warning light operate as they should. Fuel gauge also works. Original radio, clock, horn, wipers, blinkers, turn signals, high beams, rear, front, parking and dome light work as they should. Equipped with rear defogger only, no cruise control. Additions in 2023- new springs, new shocks, new headliner, new visors, and new battery. Posi rear end and dual exhaust. Sitting on 14” Oldsmobile Super Stock II Chrome wheels and 21570 BF Goodrich Radial TA tires.. Original two tone paint job of white and code #54 light yellow. Paint is in really good shape for being the original paint job.Recent oil change in May of 2024. Great weekend cruiser, car show type of vehicle. Spare tire and jack included. The AC was converted to 134R and does work, but it needs a new compressor. Other than that, this car needs nothing. All original car except for the Olds wheels. A clean survivor!

There is some oxidation and residue from previous application which can be offset with a detail. The mounting areas are intact. The heat visor valve is seized onto the manifold. GM A-Body cars went through a transformation in 1978, and although GM redesignated rear-wheel drive A-Body models as G-Bodies beginning in 1982, the platform remained relatively unchanged until 1988. The 1978-88 A & G-Body segment contains some of the more iconic muscle cars of that era, making them prime candidates for an LS swap. Hedman Hedders has been building exhaust headers in the USA since 1954, and their extensive experience shows in the construction of these 1-3/4″ diameter, mid-length LS swap headers, designed specifically for installing the reliable, late-model powerplant into 1978-87 Caballero, Cutlass, El Camino, Grand Prix, and Regal, or 1978-88 Monte Carlo models. Built from mild steel material and handcrafted in our Whittier, California manufacturing plant, these headers come complete with gaskets, small head header bolts, and exhaust collector adapter for attaching the headers to a 2-1/2″ exhaust system. They have a durable, polished silver ceramic-metallic finish to keep underhood temperatures down, increase exhaust speed to help with scavenging, and look good great at the same time. Also available with Hedman’s Black-Maxx satin black ceramic-metallic finish, or uncoated.
