I recently made a trip to a local Pic-a-Part wrecking yard to get some parts for one of my project vehicles and I noticed they had a 1986 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme in inventory and I decided to see if there were any parts I might be able list for sale on eBay and make it a “win-win” proposition for all parties.  

The part in this listing is the Air Conditioning Heat Climate Control Panel.  It’s my understanding that General Motors used this same part in all of the GM G-Body vehicles from 1978 through 1987.  This would include vehicles like the Chevrolet Monte Carlo, Chevrolet El Camino, Chevrolet Malibu, Pontiac Grand LeMans, Pontiac Grand Prix, GMC Caballero and many others.  

I lightly cleaned the part and it appears to be in good shape.  The part includes portions of the wiring harness with connectors and a portion of the vacuum harness.  I don’t have the ability to test the part but I believe it will be operational because the donor car was in the wrecking yard due to collision damage but there was no damage in teh area where the part was located.

BMR 78-87 G-Body Upper And Lower A-Arm Kit – Black Hammertone

A-arms are one of the most important, yet overlooked suspension components. They are the direct link between the front wheels and the chassis. Any deflection causes a change in alignment, which results in poor performance and driving feel. Fabricated from heavy-duty 1.25-inch and 1.500-inch, 0.095-inch wall DOM tubing with laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel braces for extra strength, deflection is eliminated with A-arms from BMR Suspension. BMR?s AA030 Upper and Lower A-arms are fitted with heavy-duty ball joints and greasable, 95-durometer bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR?s bushings are internally fluted, which allows grease to evenly coat the inner sleeve. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.

    This used OEM blower motor and fan cage is a good driver quality replacement or restoration candidate. This will fit a variety of 1978 – 1988 G-body applications without AC, please check part number for fitment. There is some paint peeling and oxidation which can be offset with a detail. One mounting point is broken as pictured and the plastic cage is structurally sound, no cracks or breaks. Please refer to photos for details. Check all part numbers and condition to ensure you are not only ordering the right part but also the condition is suited to your needs.
