Overview:

The 40100 by Lakewood is a 90/10 front shock used on GM A and G body vehicles. These are designed to provide maxim front to rear weight transfer and have been proven to reduce ETs. Lakewood Industries is the leader in drag race chassis and suspension technology. Using decades of track and laboratory research, Lakewood Industries has developed the most consistent and accurate drag shock on the market today Lakewood drag shocks have been precisely tuned for superior weight transfer that remains consistent pass after pass. Additionally, the multi-stage valving provides more stability and control mid track. 90/10 front shocks and struts are intended for track use only and provide the maximum front to rear weight transfer. Disconnecting the front sway bar is recommended for maximum track performance.

QA1’s Drag Racing Control Arms are what every drag racer needs. Integrated with QA1’s Ultra Low Friction Ball Joint and composite bushings provide bind-free movement during launch to promote optimal weight transfer. The adjustable droop sop allows user to dial in front end rise during launch. A new feature with these control arms are the billet aluminum shafts which help reduce front end weight yet provide durability for street driving. QA1 control arms are among the lightest available without sacrificing durability for street use. Configured for QA1 Pro Coil Systems with double shear lower mounting. The combination of high strength tubing and billet aluminum cross shafts make these arms amount to the lightest on the market with improved strength and durability. Perfect for drivers wanting to swap their heavy stock power steering box and eliminate the power steering pump, this Saginaw manual steering conversion kit is the answer to help shave some unnecessary weight on the dragstrip.

GM 525 Manual Steering Box

Box has a 25:1 ratio (6.25 turns lock-to-lock) with a 3-13/16″ long input shaft with 3/4″ 30-splines.

  • If you turn the input clockwise, the output also turns clockwise.
  • Stock specifications on this gear refer to it as 6 rounds lock to lock for a 24:1 ratio.

Our Pro-Series rear anti-roll sway bar for the 1978-1987 GM G-Body cars eliminates torque steer and body roll during hard launches and will drastically improve consistency and stability going down the track.

This rear sway bar will work with any aftermarket rear axle housing with 3.25″ diameter axle tubes, and will clear all aftermarket exhausts and suspension components.

Our bar stock is 1-5/16″ solid 4140 heat treated spring grade chrome moly steel. The bar is entirely heat formed and coined as one piece. We put our bar through this extensive process to insure that the final product will be the strongest, most durable sway bar on the market, and that it will be the most resistant to form alteration.

Most aftermarket anti-roll bars are cold-bent mild steel making them weaker at the bends, and more vulnerable to shape alteration. Our spherical rod ended adjustable end links allow you to pre-load your rear suspension for straight launches. We exclusively use extra heavy-duty 5/8″ spherical rod ends with a Teflon® self lubricating race.

The 40100 by Lakewood is a 90/10 front shock used on GM A and G body vehicles. These are designed to provide maxim front to rear weight transfer and have been proven to reduce ETs. Lakewood Industries is the leader in drag race chassis and suspension technology. Using decades of track and laboratory research, Lakewood Industries has developed the most consistent and accurate drag shock on the market today Lakewood drag shocks have been precisely tuned for superior weight transfer that remains consistent pass after pass. Additionally, the multi-stage valving provides more stability and control mid track. 90/10 front shocks and struts are intended for track use only and provide the maximum front to rear weight transfer. Disconnecting the front sway bar is recommended for maximum track performance.

Lakewood drag shocks part no. 40100 are 90/10 front shocks for GM A and G-Body. They provide easier control at the end of the track.
