66Aero 1978-1988 GM G-Body Rear Shock Tower Brace, Bolt In

Designed for shocks, these ears on the G-Body cars were never meant to support the weight of the vehicle. When adding coil over suspension, this loads all the weight onto these ears which can possibly crack and fail over time. With the new GM G-Body brace from 66Aero, these ears are reinforced and tied together. 

What this means for your G-Body is better performance from the coil overs as they can do what they are designed to do! 

Our G-Body brace is a seamless one-piece design which means less points for failure from a cracked weld. With its low-profile design you’ll have more room to tuck your exhaust up and out of the way or run hoses, wiring, etc. as well. 

Powder Coated? No, we Cerakoted. This coating is FIVE times stronger than powder coat, giving your new 66Aero brace a long-lasting finish. It’s also incredibly thin, which means it won’t affect the tolerances of the part. Another example of 66Aero only making the best parts possible for your ride.

Part# 964

Strengthen your front sub frame assembly and eliminate shock tower deflection on your 1993-2002 GM F-Body Camaro and Firebird by connecting the shock towers together.

Our tubular shock tower brace is constructed of 1.25″ x .095″ wall DOM tubing and CNC laser cut 1/4″ steel mounting plates. It’s an easy 100% bolt in installation using basic hand tools.

It’s available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

Fitment Notes: Will not fit the 1996-1997 Camaro SS or any 1993-2002 V-6 cars.
