Our adjustable rear panhard bar allows for centering the rear axle housing after lowering or lifting the ride height and it’s the best component for serious handling, off-road, and towing performance.

It also allows for lateral alignment of the rear end for clearance when running larger tires and greatly increases the rear end’s lateral stability. The Del-Sphereâ„¢ pivot joints provide for 28 degrees of articulation, perfect for the off-road enthusiast looking for maximum suspension articulation!

It’s available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

Del-Sphereâ„¢ Pivot Joints:

The Spohn Performance Del-Sphere™ pivot joint solves the shortcomings of the factory rubber and aftermarket polyurethane bushings. Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint incorporates a spherical ball which is surrounded by Delrin® bushing cups.

Think of the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint as a Delrin® bushed spherical rod end. After over a year of R&D testing here at Spohn Performance on a streetable spherical joint the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is the final result. Designed and manufactured exclusively by Spohn Performance, we have taken street suspension performance to the next level.

Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint features a one piece forged and heat treated 4130 chrome moly housing, a heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly spherical ball, Delrin® bushing cups, heat treated retainer washer and snap ring, heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly threaded adjuster ring, an external grease fitting, and a beautiful silver zinc plated housing finish.

The Delrin® bushing cups absorb shock and road noise so you get the quiet and smooth ride of a bushing as well as 28 degrees of rotation! Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joints will always ship to you fully assembled, however, we also offer an optional adjusting tool that will allow you to do two things.

First, you can disassemble the Del-Sphereâ„¢ pivot joint for cleaning, inspection, etc. Second, you can adjust the amount of tension on the spherical ball. The amount of tension can be easily adjusted by using our optional adjustment tool to tighten or loosen the end retainer ring.

What that means is if over time and miles the tolerances open up you can simply re-adjust the retainer ring and have your pivot joint as tight as it was the day it was brand new. We doubt you’ll ever need to replace the Delrin® bushing cups, but they certainly can be. Unlike a spherical rod end, the Del-Sphereâ„¢ pivot joint is 100% rebuildable.

After more than 45 years of use the factory panhard bar is corroded and the rubber bushings are cracked and dry rotted which adversely effects the performance of your car.

Fitment Note: This bump-steer kit is for mounting a Pinto manual steering rack in a 1993-2002 GM F-Body Camaro and Firebird. You can use this bump-steer kit for custom Pinto rack installations or if you are installing one of our competitor’s Pinto rack kits that requires drilling out your spindle hole you can use our bump-steer kit in place of theirs so you do not need to drill your spindle!

Altering ride height can result in unwanted toe change during suspension travel. This is known as bump steer. Bump steer kits allow the user to alter the tie rod position on the spindle to correct bump steer.

Our bump steer kit comes complete with silver zinc plated 4140 chrome moly hex tie rod adjusters, 5/8″ extreme duty Teflon® lined chrome moly spherical rod ends, and 4140 chrome moly tie rod to spindle adapters.

Our tie rod end to spindle adapters do not require you to drill out your tapered spindle hole. Our tie rod end to spindle adapters are CNC machined from 4140 chrome moly and are machined to be a direct bolt on to the GM spindle taper.

These are on-the-car bump steer adjustable. The tie rod to spindle adapters are fully threaded with double locking jam nuts for easy up-down adjustment that eliminates the need for different sized spacers.

Our tie rod end set-up features 5/8” 4130 chrome moly safety washers on the top and bottom of the rod end for adequate articulation spacing and for safe retention of the spherical rod end.

This Standard Duty crossmember mounted adjustable torque arm kit is for installing a short tail Turbo 400 transmission into a Third Generation F-Body Camaro or Firebird. This kit includes the transmission crossmember required to install the short tail TH400 transmission, along with our transmission crossmember mounted Standard Duty adjustable torque arm.

The short tail Turbo 400 transmission has no provisions to mount the factory torque arm on to the transmission tailshaft. Our torque arm package makes the short tail Turbo 400 swap an easy 100% bolt right in installation with the use of basic hand tools!

If you want serious performance, handling, and traction when you’re at the dragstrip, AutoX, or road racing; then you need a Spohn Performance fully adjustable torque arm, here’s what it’ll do:

  • Attaches to the rear axle and controls rear end torque during acceleration, transferring this energy into the tires, increasing straight line traction.
  • Reduces nose-dive during braking.
  • Eliminates wheel hop.
  • Increases side bite during corner exit acceleration.
  • No fabrication, welding or drilling required – 100% bolt-in installation with the use of basic hand tools!
  • Removes the torque arm pivot point from the rear of the transmission to the supplied crossmember.
  • Changes the instantaneous center and leverage point from stock.
  • Provides adjustable pinion angle.

Build Specifications & Features:

  • Constructed of 1.25″ o.d. x .120″ wall DOM tubing.
  • TIG welded 4130N chrome moly threaded tube adapters for maximum thread strength.
  • Heavy-duty CNC laser cut 3/8″ steel rear axle housing mounting bracket.
  • Heavy-duty transmission crossmember fabricated from CNC laser cut and formed 3/16″ steel with integral torque arm rotator mounting system. Our rotating front torque arm mount (thrustator) allows the torque arm to travel fore/aft which is VERY necessary with a torque arm suspension system. Solidly mounting the front of the torque arm causes the suspension to bind and hurts your car’s handling drastically. The front rotator tube has an integral grease fitting to allow for proper lubrication.
  • Del-Sphere™ pivot jointed front mount provides for bind-free articulation and the best in street-friendly performance and strength.
  • Rear of torque arm mounts to the 3/8″ steel rear axle housing mounting bracket via two 3/4″-16 NFT x 5/8″ bore x 7/8″ thick solid steel rod ends. These are solid rod ends, not spherical bearing rod ends, so noise is of no concern. Grade 8 – 5/8″ bolts and 5/8″ nylock nuts are supplied.
  • Integral 4140 chrome moly pinion angle double adjuster between the bottom rear solid rod end and the bottom rear torque arm tube allows for easy pinion angle adjustment. A simple turn of the wrench will give you over 6 degrees of pinion angle adjustment, it’s that simple.
  • This is a proven product being run on some of the fastest thirdgen F-Bodies in the country!
  • The rear axle housing mounting bracket is designed to fit on stock and/or aftermarket rear ends.
  • Available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.
  • Includes a front driveshaft safety loop. NHRA rules call for a front driveshaft safety loop to prevent catapulting of the vehicle in the event of a front u-joint or driveshaft failure.

The Mountain Goat Series™ adjustable front upper control arms for the Jeep© JK Wrangler allow for maximum suspension articulation. Our adjustable front upper control arms are compatible with virtually any suspension system, from bone stock up to 6″ or more of lift. For those of you with suspension lifts the adjustability feature allows you to lengthen or shorten the front upper control arms to dial in your pinion and caster angles, as well as position the front axle housing for proper tire clearance.

Our adjustable front upper control arms are manufactured from high strength 1.50″ 4130N chrome moly DOM tubing and feature 100% TIG welded construction. They feature a CNC laser cut and formed 1/4″ steel front housing bushing mounting bracket with an integral formed top gusset and a CNC laser cut 3/16″ steel gusset between the front mounting bracket and the tube for maximum strength and durability. A brilliant and durable powder coated finish in your choice of bright red or gloss black provides excellent protection from corrosion, rocks and debris.

The length of our adjustable front upper control arms is easily adjusted while mounted on your Jeep© JK Wrangler by using the massive 1″-12 forged 4140 chrome moly double adjuster. Simply loosen the two jam nuts, turn the adjuster’s center hex until you reach the length you need and then tighten down the jam nuts, it’s that simple.

The rearward ends of our adjustable front upper control arms for the Jeep© JK Wrangler feature greaseable and rebuildable Del-Sphere™ pivot joints. These were chosen to provide maximum suspension articulation (30 degrees) and off-road performance while minimizing the transfer of road noise and vibrations on the street. The Del-Sphere™ pivot joints are smooth, long lasting and quiet.

Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint ends feature a heavy duty 0.200″ wall DOM cartridge that houses self lubricating Delrin© bushing cups, a precision ground and hard chrome plated 52100 heat treated bearing steel spherical ball, a heat treated and zinc plated retainer washer and snap ring, a heat treated and zinc plated chrome moly threaded adjuster ring and an external grease fitting. They are reinforced with 100% TIG welded CNC laser cut and formed 3/16″ steel gussets. Since Delrin© is self lubricating there is no need to grease this joint which attracts grit and grime, but we do have a grease fitting in place for those who want it.

The Del-Sphere™ pivot joint ends used on these control arms are designed specifically for the Jeep© JK Wrangler application. The cartridges are only 1.50″ wide and use high misalignment spacers on each side of the spherical ball which allows the pivot joint to reach its full articulation range without the housing bottoming out and binding inside of the control arm mounts. This provides for quiet operation and a true full 30 degrees of unrestricted suspension articulation.

Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint ends are fully rebuildable and adjustable. You can completely disassemble the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint for cleaning, inspection, etc. You can also adjust the amount of friction on the spherical ball, the amount of tension can be easily adjusted by using our optional adjustment tool to tighten or loosen the threaded adjuster ring. The threaded adjuster ring is then locked in place by a set screw.

What that means is if over time, miles and abuse the tolerances open up you can simply tighten down the threaded adjuster ring and have your pivot joint as tight as it was the day it was brand new. We doubt you’ll ever need to replace the Delrin© bushing cups, but they certainly can be. Unlike a rubber bushing or spherical rod end, the Del-Sphere™ pivot joints are 100% rebuildable at a very low cost.

Our adjustable polyurethane bushed rear lower control arms for the 1965-1974 Ford Galaxie outperform the flexible, stamped steel arms and soft rubber bushings that come from the factory.

After more than 40 years of use the factory rear lower control arms are corroded and the rubber bushings are cracked and dry rotted which adversely effects the handling and performance of your car.

Improve your ride quality, reduce body roll, eliminate wheel hop and increase traction with an easy bolt on installation. All of the ends are fitted with grease fittings for easy lubrication of the fluted polyurethane bushings.

The adjustability feature allows for fore and aft centering of the rear axle housing to correct for factory tolerances, this also allows for fore and aft movement of the entire rear axle assembly to provide for adequate tire clearance when running large tires.
