The Mountain Goat Series™ front track bar relocation bracket is a necessary upgrade on any Jeep© JK Wrangler that is lifted 3.0″ or more. Our front track bar relocation bracket is designed for lift heights from 3.0″-4.5″ and can be used on lifts up to 6.0″ if combined with an adjustable front track bar like our Part# JK-117.
Our front track bar relocation bracket for the Jeep© JK Wrangler mounts to the front axle housing and axle tube and is designed to be extremely rigid and durable. This is accomplished by anchoring the bracket in multiple locations to evenly and securely distribute the forces of the front track bar. This design reinforces the factory mounting bracket that is prone to failure providing for dependable performance in any conditions.
Our front track bar relocation bracket greatly improves a lifted Jeep© JK’s drivability by restoring the proper roll center of the vehicle which in turn reduces front body roll. It raises the mounting point on the front axle housing to reduce the operating angle of the front track bar. It returns the mounting point on the front axle housing to a neutral position, this eliminates binding problems that lead to premature bushing failure and helps keep the front axle housing centered. By keeping the front track bar closer to horizontal, the front suspension behaves more predictably to road conditions and handling is vastly improved.
Our front track bar relocation bracket is compatible with virtually any suspension system, from 3.0″-6.0″ of lift. It is compatible with the factory front track bar for 3.0″-4.5″ lifts and with aftermarket adjustable front track bars for 3.0″-6.0″ lifts.
The raised mounting point allows for proper horizontal geometry of the front track bar and lateral centering of the front axle housing when lifted. If you are lifted, it is best to use this front track bar relocation bracket in conjunction with an adjustable front track bar such as our Part# JK-117.
Our front track bar relocation bracket includes a CNC laser cut and formed 3/16″ steel front steering stabilizer relocation bracket that flips the steering stabilizer to the top of the tie rod to improve ground clearance and prevent damage of the steering stabilizer from rocks and trail debris.
Manufactured from CNC laser cut and formed high strength 3/16″ and 1/4″ steel plate, our front track bar relocation bracket is precison formed on an 8 axis CNC press brake to ensure proper geometry and an easy 100% bolt in installation. It is powder coated gloss black for optimum corrosion protection and a brilliant and durable finish. All required mounting hardware is included.
Technical Recommendations:
- Must be used with minimum 3″ tall front bump stop extensions.
- For optimum steering geometry, roll center geometry, and bump-steer prevention, you must install a high steer flipped front drag link. If you do not already have a high steer flipped front drag link you can purchase our Part# JK-HSCK1 high steer correction kit that includes this Part# JK-130 front track bar relocation bracket and our Part# JK-HSDL-1375 extreme duty high steer drag link all in one package.
