BMR has designed the STB462 for the street performance, drag race, and handling applications. This two-point design solidly links the rear frame, adding strength to the chassis.

Connect the rear upper shock mounts and reinforce the chassis on your 1978-1987 G-Body with a rear shock tower brace from BMR Suspension. BMR?s Rear Strut Tower Brace (STB462) firms up the G-Body chassis by adding loads of strength and support to the factory rear frame that tends to flex, even with mild amounts of torque and horsepower. The BMR Rear Strut Tower Brace is constructed from lightweight DOM steel tubing and laser cut 3/l6-inch steel plate to provide maximum strength without adding unnecessary bulk.

BMR Suspension believes the right springs go beyond looks?your GM G-body needs to perform, too! All BMR springs are manufactured from chrome silicon high-tensile spring wire, and are cold wound on a CNC coiling machine. The CNC coiling head can adjust the spring diameter in real time to ensure that every spring is exactly the same. This guarantees that your right spring matches your left spring. Every BMR spring is compressed solid at the factory, not once, but twice. This gives the spring its permanent set, and guarantees no sag. A-arms are one of the most important, yet overlooked suspension components. They are the direct link between the front wheels and the chassis. Any deflection causes a change in alignment, which results in poor performance and driving feel. Fabricated from heavy-duty 1.25-inch, 0.095-inch wall DOM tubing with laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plate for extra strength, deflection is eliminated with A-arms from BMR Suspension. BMR?s AA012 Upper A-arms are equipped with CNC machined, nickel-plated, dual-offset cross-shafts with heavy-duty stainless bushing retainers. They come pre-assembled with new polyurethane bump stops. New upper ball joints are included as well. Greasable, 95-durometer bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR?s bushings are internally fluted, which allows grease to evenly coat the inner sleeve. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.

Rear Suspension Kit – Red. Launching harder, reducing wheel hop, and adding cornering consistency to your 1978-1987 GM G-body is easy with a Rear Suspension Kit from BMR Suspension. Stock stamped steel control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect under load and absorb power instead of transferring it to the tires. BMR’s polyurethane, non-adjustable Rear Suspension Kit (RSK028) consists of non-adjustable lower control arms, on-car adjustable upper control arms, and control arm reinforcement braces. The lower control arms are manufactured from heavy-duty 1.50-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall, DOM steel tubing, the lower control arms provide all the strength you’ll need for any performance application. The upper control arms are manufactured from 1.25-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall, DOM steel tubing, strong enough for any compression load. The center adjuster is CNC-machined from chrome-moly steel with rolled threads for the ultimate in strength and durability. This design gives you a strong control arm that greatly improves performance. The reinforcement braces are made from 1.0-inch diameter, 0.156-inch wall, steel tubing to help reduce frame deflection. The upper and lower control arms come with greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings that add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR’s bushings are internally fluted, which keeps grease in the bushing, even under heavy load. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings. In addition, the reinforcement braces strengthen the upper control arm frame mounts by tying the upper mounts and lower mounts together.

Returning Items in Original Point of Sale Packaging

We require that all items be returned in their original packaging. This includes the original box, foam, and any other packaging materials. If the original packaging is damaged or missing, we may charge a fee to replace it.

Do Not Ship Items in Original Packaging (USE A SHIPPING BOX)

Do not ship items back in their original packaging. The original packaging is not designed to withstand the rigours of shipping and may be damaged in transit. Instead, ship the item back in its outer shipping box that came with it or puchase a new box at your local post office. 

This is only void if we ship items to u in their POS packing, for example, Larger items like Magnaflow exhausts.

Restocking Fees

  • Normally stocked items: 20% restocking fee
  • Special order / made-to-order items: 50% restocking fee

Condition of Items

Items must be returned in their original condition, unopened and in the original packaging. Items that have been installed or used will not be accepted for return.  

Reasons for Return

Items may be returned for a refund or exchange for the following reasons:

  • You changed your mind
  • You ordered the wrong item
  • The item is defective

Refunds

Refunds will be issued for the purchase price of the item, minus any restocking fees and shipping charges.

Shipping Charges

Shipping charges are non-refundable. This includes our cost to originally ship an item, even if we did not charge shipping.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that cancellations must be requested within 1 hour of purchase. If a cancellation is requested after this timeframe, it is possible that the item may have already been shipped. Once an item has been picked, placed on the shipping dock, and a shipping manifest has been generated, it is not possible to halt the shipping process.

  • Cancellation requests must be sent in via eBay’s system in your “My eBay” tab or via messaging with the subject line “Cancellation.”
  • Special order / made to order items cannot be canceled without a 50% restocking fee.
  • Quantity on hand is subject to change at any given time.
  • Items out of stock will be shipped from a distributor or directly from the manufacturer.
