Adjustable Rear Upper Control Arms with Poly Bushings | 1968-1972 GM A-Body

These adjustable rear upper control arms for the 1968-1972 GM A-Body cars outperform the flexible, stamped steel arms and soft rubber bushings that come from the factory.

Eliminate wheel hop and increase traction with an easy bolt on installation. All of the ends are fitted with grease fittings for easy lubrication of the fluted polyurethane bushings.

These adjustable rear upper control arms are constructed from 1.25″ x .095″ wall DOM tubing and CNC laser cut and formed 1/4″ steel mounting brackets for maximum strength and durability.

The adjustability feature allows for setting the pinion angle. Our right hand and left hand threaded silver zinc plated CNC machined 4140 chrome moly double male adjuster allows for easy on-the-car adjustments, no need to unmount the control arm to make adjustments!

They’re available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

More than 90% of aftermarket manufacturers use the T-3303 series Aluminum, because it is cheaper and easier to get the material. However, T-3303 aluminum has many disadvantages, such as poor polishing effect, softness, easiness to scratch and corrode, poor heat dissipation effect. AA5052 Aluminum is an Al-Mg alloy with good corrosion resistance, excellent reliability and cold workability and strength. Fitment Applications:

1982-1992 GM F-Body – Camaro & Firebird (with SBC or BBC V-8 engines only)

1978-1987 GM G-Body – Regal, Malibu, Monte Carlo, etc. (with SBC or BBC V-8 engines only)

Part# 998

These solid motor mounts replace the factory rubber motor mount bushings that bolt to the frame. They control excessive engine movement and eliminate the need for torque straps and prevent linkage binding.

These solid motor mounts bolt directly to the frame of the 1982-1992 GM F-Body Camaro and Firebird and the 1978-1987 GM G-Body, as well as many other 1974 and up GM V-8 applications. These solid mounts are used in conjunction with the factory u mount that bolts to the engine block.

Specifications & Features:

  • Constructed of CNC laser cut and formed 3/16” steel.
  • 0.875″ o.d. x .188″ wall DOM through bolt sleeves.
  • Precision MIG welded.
  • Silver zinc plated for a brilliant and durable finish.
  • Easy 100% bolt in installation with the use of basic hand tools.

Fitment Note: These only work with all small block or big block Chevrolet V-8 engines.
