66Aero 1978-1988 GM G-Body Front Sway Bar Brace, Bolt-in
Movement in the frame means your suspension can’t do its job. The GM G-Body frame comes away from the front cross member and leaves the gearbox and sway bar area unsupported. This brace helps to solve that problem by tying the frame horns together under the sway bar helping to reduce flexing. The end result helps the suspension to do its job which means you have better handling.
This brace is designed to be used in conjunction with the factory triangulated brace.
Our G-Body brace is a seamless one-piece design which means less points for failure from a cracked weld. With its low-profile design you’ll have more room for accessories and coolers.
Powder Coated? No, we Cerakoted. This coating is FIVE times stronger than powder coat, giving your new 66Aero brace a long-lasting finish. It’s also incredibly thin, which means it won’t affect the tolerances of the part. Another example of 66Aero only making the best parts possible for your ride.

1978 – 1980 G-BODY CUTLASS MONTE-CARLO REGAL FRONT SEAT BELT SET
This is a pair of front bench seatbelts from a 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo that I parted out. These belts do work but are not in the greatest shape for the age. The passenger side front retractor has a torn up spot in the belt and there is rust on, the buckles. Be sure to check out all my listings, thanks.

The UMI Performance, Inc. reinforcing front frame brace is used to stiffen the front frame horns and front crossmember area on the GM G-Body platform. The UMI three point frame brace takes the place of the popular “Grand Prix Bar” and also the stock frame reinforcements. No drilling is required and Grade 8 hardware is included. This brace weighs in at less than 10lbs and is recommended for street, strip, auto-x or road racing. The UMI P/N 3053 is available with tough red or black powder coat and is designed and manufactured with pride in Philipsburg, PA – USA. The UMI P/N 3053 is used on our popular G-Body Green Machine.

Note: Not currently approved for Grand National platform with intercooler. Occasional grinding may be required due to GM G-Body product tolerances. UMI used five test cars for fitment in a variety of years and no grinding was required.
