Fitment Notes: These extended length front lower control arms are for the 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 4×4 with a 1.0″-3.0″ lifted ride height. These must be matched with our Part# D94-99-602-3 extended length front upper control arms. The extended length front control arms push the front axle housing front so it remains properly positioned fore/aft after lifting the ride height.

Our boxed front lower control arms for the 1994-1999 Dodge Ram 4×4 outperform the flexible, stamped steel control arms with soft rubber bushings that come from the factory.

Eliminate wheel hop, steering wander and increase traction with an easy bolt on installation. All of the ends are fitted with grease fittings for easy lubrication of the low deflection fluted polyurethane bushings.

Our boxed front lower control arms are constructed of 2.00″ x 1.50″ x .120″ wall rectangular tubing, and are 100% TIG welded for the ultimate in strength, durability, and a trick appearance.

These front lower control arms are built with an inboard offset to provide maximum front tire clearance. When running larger tires they can rub against the factory front lower control arms at full steering lock, our offset design eliminates that problem.

They’re available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

Front Eccentric Cam Bolts Included: We have yet to put these on a truck that we did not have to cut off the front mounting bolts. Due to the design of the factory’s front cam bolts, water can enter through the side of the bolt causing it to rust fast to the bolt sleeve inside of the factory’s front control arm bushing.

You get your truck all tore apart and then you have to take a trip to the Dodge dealer, find and order the bolts you need, and then wait a few days for them to come in. Since we already know you will need new front cam bolts, this front lower control arm package includes two new cam bolts, two new cam washers, and two new lock nuts (see the second picture). Remember that when looking at our price!

Our adjustable polyurethane bushed rear lower control arms for the 1965-1974 Ford Galaxie outperform the flexible, stamped steel arms and soft rubber bushings that come from the factory.

After more than 40 years of use the factory rear lower control arms are corroded and the rubber bushings are cracked and dry rotted which adversely effects the handling and performance of your car.

Improve your ride quality, reduce body roll, eliminate wheel hop and increase traction with an easy bolt on installation. All of the ends are fitted with grease fittings for easy lubrication of the fluted polyurethane bushings.

The adjustability feature allows for fore and aft centering of the rear axle housing to correct for factory tolerances, this also allows for fore and aft movement of the entire rear axle assembly to provide for adequate tire clearance when running large tires.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

We proudly carry Goodmark® parts as they are a leader in restoration sheet metal and trim for today’s most popular muscle cars

  • Fenders – all Goodmark® front fenders include the inner bracing and are complete bolt-on assemblies, not just the outer skin. Holes may have to be punched for emblems, molding or trim not used on all models. Use your old panel as a guide.
  • Hoods – all Goodmark® hoods are double panel assemblies, including the inner frame and outer skin welded together with factory dimension nuts to attach to the hinges. With proper care our hoods can last the life of the car.
  • Door Shells – Goodmark® door shells are complete bolt-on assemblies with complete inner structure and outer skin included. You will need to swap your vent windows, door latches, door remote, window regulator assemblies and parts from your old door onto the new one. For many models all new parts are available to completely replace all the parts in the door.
  • Quarter Panels – Goodmark® factory style quarter panels feature a full sail panel to the roof (picture will reflect actual coverage), door jamb pillar (if originally used), and extend to the trunk opening and wrap around the tail panel – just like the factory part. Weather-strip gutters will need to be added because they were not part of the quarter panel originally.
  • Trunk Lids – Goodmark® trunk lids are full double-wall construction with full inner frame and outer skin spot welded together.
  • Floors – Goodmark® factory style floors extend to all the factory seams and feature the correct bracing welded underneath (except as noted or shown). We also have selections of inner rockers, outer rockers and bucket seat mounting brackets to help with your floor restoration.
  • Trunk Floors – we offer Goodmark® factory style trunk floors for most models; each includes the under bracing welded in (except as noted or shown), ready for installation.

Damaged Shipments – we always try to package and ship your parts to prevent damage. You should open and inspect your merchandise carefully before signing the delivery receipt. You must sign the delivery receipt as “damaged” and refuse the shipment if there are any visible signs of mishandling or upon inspection the product is damaged. This is our only recourse in filing a claim for shipping damage. If you sign for your delivery as undamaged but later notice the product is damaged, we will be hindered in helping you make a claim. In the event of damage to your shipped goods, here are the steps to take.

These Del-Sphere™ pivot jointed adjustable rear lower control arms for the 1973-1977 GM A-Body cars outperform the flexible, stamped steel arms and soft rubber bushings that come from the factory.

Eliminate wheel hop, increase traction, and drastically improve handling with an easy bolt on installation. The Del-Sphere™ pivot joints provide for “bind-free” handling and no deflection launch performance. They’re available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

The control arm bushings on A-Body vehicles have a significant impact on your vehicle’s ride, comfort, handling, acceleration, noise and vibration. When the vehicle leans (rolls) in a turn, one side of the chassis moves up relative to the rear axle and the other side moves down.

The control arms must twist to allow for the axle to articulate, this causes the control arm bushings to bind. If this bind becomes excessive, it will raise the rear wheel rate and produce sudden and uncontrolled changes in handling such as snap oversteer.

The factory minimizes this suspension bind by using compliant rubber bushings. These soft bushings help accommodate the necessary motion of the control arms during body roll. However, the rubber bushings do not provide much in the way of forward and aft support which can cause wheel hop during hard acceleration and braking.

It is common to replace the stock rubber control arm bushings with polyurethane bushings to resolve the shortcomings of the factory’s soft rubber bushings. Polyurethane bushings eliminate wheel hop, reduce axle deflection, and improve straight line traction. However, the downside of polyurethane bushings is they prevent the necessary movement of the control arms during body roll, which in turn produces significant binding in the suspension when the vehicle is cornering.

The polyurethane bushings also place high stresses on the control arm mounts on the vehicle. Polyurethane bushed control arms do not allow for rotation of the control arm during cornering because of the stiffness of the bushings.

Del-Sphere™ Pivot Joints:

The Spohn Performance Del-Sphere™ pivot joint solves the shortcomings of the factory rubber and aftermarket polyurethane bushings. Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint incorporates a spherical ball which is surrounded by Delrin® bushing cups.

Think of the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint as a Delrin® bushed spherical rod end. After over a year of R&D testing here at Spohn Performance on a streetable spherical joint the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is the final result. Designed and manufactured exclusively by Spohn Performance, we have taken street suspension performance to the next level.

Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint features a one piece forged and heat treated chrome moly housing, a heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly spherical ball, Delrin® bushing cups, heat treated retainer washer and snap ring, heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly threaded adjuster ring, an external grease fitting, and a beautiful silver zinc plated housing finish.

The Delrin® bushing cups absorb shock and road noise so you get the quiet and smooth ride of a bushing as well as 28 degrees of rotation! Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joints will always ship to you fully assembled, however, we also offer an optional adjusting tool that will allow you to do two things.

First, you can disassemble the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint for cleaning, inspection, etc. Second, you can adjust the amount of tension on the spherical ball. The amount of tension can be easily adjusted by using our optional adjustment tool to tighten or loosen the end retainer ring.

What that means is if over time and miles the tolerances open up you can simply re-adjust the retainer ring and have your pivot joint as tight as it was the day it was brand new. We doubt you’ll ever need to replace the Delrin® bushing cups, but they certainly can be. Unlike a spherical rod end, the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is 100% rebuildable.

Description

Adjustable steel 1978-88 G-body metric upper and lower rear end trailing arms are complete with left and right 3/4″ rod ends, step spacers reducing to a 1/2″ hole and cut to fit stock GM type mounts. Upper arm aids in adjusting pinion angle and centering rear end. Lower arm will adjust wheel base.

This is a pair of fully assembled CPP Totally Tubular A-arms for GM G-Body vehicles including the ever popular Regal, Monte Carlo, and Malibu. These arms come installed with factory style ball joints and will accommodate most aftermarket sway bars on the market and are compatible with both coil springs and coil over setups. Additionally, the arms come fully assembled and ready to install and are made proudly in the USA!

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Orders over $599 will be sent out with signature required. You will need to sign for your packages or make arrangements with the carrier to pick up from their nearest hub.

Most items (unless noted in the handling time) ship from our warehouse within 4-5business days from the business day your payment is received and processed in our system. Orders placed Friday and through the weekend will be processed Monday (excluding Holidays).

All Will Call orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance for pickup from the showroom, including in showroom or parking lot orders. Local pickup is available upon request.
