Typically these are used to Extend the Upper a arms  and reinforce to prevent bending/cracking under stresses caused by Hydraulic pressure.


Our kit is cut to fit snug around the upper a arm area, kits will come with the necessary holes precut for bushing areas. And labeled A or B to help line up each plate to each arm.


Core Arms are required to weld these to. These are not prefab Arm plates.


Some grinding will be needed as not all Arms  are identical, and used arms can already be bent!!


All of our plate kits are cut by hand, not on a plasma table…


Kit includes the following:


2pairs- Upper a arm reinforcement pieces for 78-88 G body (Cutlass, Regal, Monte Carlo, grand prix, ).  3/16 thickness. You weld these yourself.


2 top plates

4 side plates

4 extension pieces (3/4, 1″, 1.25″, 1.5″ or 2″) please let me know what size you need cut.

Rear control arms are one of the most important suspension modifications that can be done to your GM vehicle. Stock control arms are on the borderline of “junk”, bushing deflection and rusting weak stamped material add for traction loss and poor handling ability. Our tubular control arms are designed to give you the best of both worlds, whether your car is a weekend cruiser or a weekend track addict we got you covered. The included Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings are an excellent improvement over OEM rubber bushings, while adding ride improvements they also work excellent to reduce traction loss. These control arms are a direct bolt-on replacement designed to minimize wheel hop, improve cornering and help track consistency.

Will adapt a coil over shock with a spherical rod end to a upper rear GM A/G Body chassis.  May also work with an F Body.  Bolt spacing to chassis is 3″.  Height from mounting surface is 1.5″.  Space between tabs is 1″.

I went to a longer coil over and have no further need for these.

These Part #765 tubular upper a-arms are designed for use with stock or stock style (ie. drop spindles) spindles.

Our tubular front upper a-arms for the 1982-2004 S-10 two wheel drive Truck and Blazer provide additional header clearance and are assembled with new forged 4140 chrome moly offset cross shafts and heavy-duty bushing retainers. Not only will they provide maximum rigidity and great looks, they also drop almost four pounds of unsprung weight!

They feature high durometer polyurethane bushings that are fluted on the o.d. and i.d. and feature dual grease flow through holes for squeak-free operation. They’re available powder coated bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

A-arms are one of the most important, yet overlooked suspension components. They are the direct link between the front wheels and the chassis. Any deflection causes a change in alignment, which results in poor performance and driving feel. Fabricated from heavy-duty 1.25-inch and 1.500-inch, 0.095-inch wall DOM tubing with laser-cut, CNC-formed plate steel braces for extra strength, deflection is eliminated with A-arms from BMR Suspension. BMR?s AA030 Upper and Lower A-arms are fitted with heavy-duty ball joints and greasable, 95-durometer bushings add a solid, more responsive feel over the stock rubber bushings. BMR?s bushings are internally fluted, which allows grease to evenly coat the inner sleeve. These flutes also direct grease to the outer edge of the bushing, keeping the thrust surface lubricated. This efficient lubrication ensures quiet, reliable operation over the life of the bushings.

Our rear upper control arm front frame mount for the 1965-1966 Chevrolet B-Body Impala, Caprice, Biscayne, and Bel Air is a direct replacement of the stock mount that attaches the rear upper control arm to the frame.

You can use our new mount to replace the stock mount when it is too corroded, or to use as a second mount when installing a four link (two rear upper control arms) set up into a factory three link (one rear upper control arm) car.

Our rear upper control arm front frame mount is CNC laser cut and formed from 3/16″ steel and comes powder coated gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

All required mounting hardware is supplied (Grade 8) to complete the installation, including new control arm mounting hardware.

Priced per Mount — Qty. 1 = 1 Mount: You will need to verify whether your car has one or two rear upper control arms. All six cylinder and most small block cars were equipped with one rear upper control arm. Big block cars were equipped with two rear upper control arms.

Replace the factory’s weak and flexible rubber bushed rear upper control arm on your 1965-1966 Chevrolet B-Body Impala, Caprice, Biscayne, and Bel Air with our heavy duty adjustable unit!

Our adjustable rear upper control arm allows you to set your pinion angle, provides for serious handling performance and greatly increase the rear end’s fore and aft stability.

After more than 45 years of use the factory rear upper control arm is corroded and the rubber bushings are cracked and dry rotted which adversely effects the performance of your car.

Improve your ride quality, reduce body roll, eliminate wheel hop and increase traction with an easy bolt on installation. All of the ends are fitted with grease fittings for easy lubrication of the fluted polyurethane bushings.

Specifications & Features:

  • 1.25″ x .120″ wall DOM tubing
  • Stronger, yet lighter than stock
  • Polyurethane bushings (fluted) with grease fittings for easy lubrication
  • Right hand and left hand threaded silver zinc plated 4140 chrome moly double male adjuster threads into 4130 chrome moly TIG welded threaded tube adapters for maximum thread strength
  • Re-uses factory mounting hardware, no need to drill out your mounting brackets
  • Easy 100% bolt in installation with the use of basic hand tools
  • This is the highest quality, easiest to adjust on-the-car rear upper control arm on the market!
  • Available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish

Fitment Note: Fits 1965-1966 Chevrolet B-Body cars only.
