Used RF Lower Door Panel removed from a 1987 Monte Carlo SS.  Removed from passenger side.  Color is Burgandy. Armrest pad is not included.  Part is in fair condition for its age.  There is some sunfade and light scratches as well as a small hairline crack.  Crack is approximately 1-1/2″ long and located at top right hand corner (see pic with finger pointing at it).  This is barely noticeable when installed with top panel in place.  Will fit 1981-88 G-Body cars.  Please review pics carefully and ask any questions prior to placing order.  Check out my other auctions for more parts removed from this car.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

We proudly carry Goodmark® parts as they are a leader in restoration sheet metal and trim for today’s most popular muscle cars

  • Fenders – all Goodmark® front fenders include the inner bracing and are complete bolt-on assemblies, not just the outer skin. Holes may have to be punched for emblems, molding or trim not used on all models. Use your old panel as a guide.
  • Hoods – all Goodmark® hoods are double panel assemblies, including the inner frame and outer skin welded together with factory dimension nuts to attach to the hinges. With proper care our hoods can last the life of the car.
  • Door Shells – Goodmark® door shells are complete bolt-on assemblies with complete inner structure and outer skin included. You will need to swap your vent windows, door latches, door remote, window regulator assemblies and parts from your old door onto the new one. For many models all new parts are available to completely replace all the parts in the door.
  • Quarter Panels – Goodmark® factory style quarter panels feature a full sail panel to the roof (picture will reflect actual coverage), door jamb pillar (if originally used), and extend to the trunk opening and wrap around the tail panel – just like the factory part. Weather-strip gutters will need to be added because they were not part of the quarter panel originally.
  • Trunk Lids – Goodmark® trunk lids are full double-wall construction with full inner frame and outer skin spot welded together.
  • Floors – Goodmark® factory style floors extend to all the factory seams and feature the correct bracing welded underneath (except as noted or shown). We also have selections of inner rockers, outer rockers and bucket seat mounting brackets to help with your floor restoration.
  • Trunk Floors – we offer Goodmark® factory style trunk floors for most models; each includes the under bracing welded in (except as noted or shown), ready for installation.

Damaged Shipments – we always try to package and ship your parts to prevent damage. You should open and inspect your merchandise carefully before signing the delivery receipt. You must sign the delivery receipt as “damaged” and refuse the shipment if there are any visible signs of mishandling or upon inspection the product is damaged. This is our only recourse in filing a claim for shipping damage. If you sign for your delivery as undamaged but later notice the product is damaged, we will be hindered in helping you make a claim. In the event of damage to your shipped goods, here are the steps to take.

  • Sign the Delivery Receipt as “damaged”
  • DO NOT take delivery of the shipment. It should be refused!
  • Immediately contact through our eBay store.

Small Print – Due to the nature of the material and production, the sheet metal products you receive may have scratches, dings, small dents and other minor imperfections which are considered normal. These imperfections will easily be corrected during the initial filling, priming and sanding of your repair or restoration. We do not consider dings, minor dents, scratches in the EDP primer or any other minor imperfection to be defective or damaged. ALL sheet metal panels will require some preparation and manipulation during the installation process for a show quality fit and finish. We recommend that all sheet metal panels should be test fit before any prep work or paint is applied. Minor modifications such as elongating mounting holes, adding shims, etc, are normal and may be necessary when you are installing the product.

Improve the street and track performance of your G-body and achieve that precise Pro-Touring feel by adding a set of fabricated tubular a-arms from UMI Performance. UMI’s P/N 303133-2 upper and lower a-arm kit replaces the worn out, stock stamped a-arms with high-strength tubular construction and a host of premium features. The stock geometry lower a-arms feature tough tubular construction with greaseable polyurethane bushings for precise handling and smooth suspension motion. The ball joint mount is angled slightly from stock to permit usage with lowered vehicles and the design offers additional wheel clearance. The tubular upper a-arms are assembled with smooth operating, low deflection UMI designed and manufactured Delrin bushings as well as UMI-built billet chromoly cross shafts. They feature a relocated mounting pad to increase caster without excessive shims and are loaded with ½” taller upper ball joints to improve camber performance. Both upper and lower a-arms are jig built to maintain accuracy for a perfect fit every time and come preloaded with premium ball joints. Critical areas are TIG welded for superior strength and a clean look. UMI’s extensive testing on the street, drag strip and skid pad ensures a quality product able to with stand all types of conditions. The ultra tough red or black powder coat finish guarantees your performance parts stay beautiful on your street car, drag car, autocrosser or Pro-Touring machine. The P/N 303133-1 a-arm kit will work with factory springs, lowering springs and coil over kits such as the popular QA1 coil over set up. For the best handling and tire life from the UMI designed a-arms, included with each kit are recommended alignment specs along with detailed installation instructions. Delrin® Bushings: These a-arms are equipped with Delrin® bushings. They’re designed for the serious Road Race or AutoX car that demands a zero deflection bushing for maximum handling performance. They are a bit harsher on the street (NVH). These a-arms are available with polyurethane bushings, search for Part# 782-G in our eBay Store to purchase these.

In December of 2014 we released these RRx Seriesâ„¢ tubular front lower a-arms for the 1978-1987 GM G-Body that set a higher standard of performance and quality. They are truely the new standard of comparison.

All of our RRx Series™ tubular a-arms are designed using aerospace level technology and design tools. First we create a 3D scan of the factory a-arm using a FARO® ScanArm™ with a 3D laser scanning attachment. Then we use that 3D model of the factory a-arm as our foundation for creating a tubular version inside of our Solidworks® 3D design software.

After we’re done designing the a-arm in Solidworks®, we then use that 3D data to design the jig that we will use to build the a-arms. The jig parts are then CNC laser cut and formed on an 8 axis CNC press brake. The final result is dimensional accuracy to within .005″!

When we designed our RRx Seriesâ„¢ tubular front lower control arms, we had two goals in mind. One was to provide the performance capabilities needed for the toughest race tracks, the second was to provide the strength and durability required for the demands of a daily driven vehicle.

We’re proud to say that we have accomplished both. If you’re looking for the strongest, most rigid, and best performing front lower a-arms for the GM G-Body cars, you just found them!

Our RRx Seriesâ„¢ front control arms are a true “A” arm rather than a “V” arm. This increases the arm’s rigidity and equalizes the forces delivered in to the frame. These a-arms are completely gusseted to provide for maximum rigidity and durability, as well as zero flex.

The CNC machined coil spring mounting tube is completely surrounded and tied in with CNC laser cut 3/16″ steel gussets that are solid MIG welded. We also 100% TIG weld on CNC laser cut and formed 3/16″ steel bushing tube gussets for maximum strength and durability.

These a-arms are equipped with a CNC machined coil spring mounting tube for installation of factory or factory style (lowering) springs. The coil spring mounting base has a spring ramp that provides for proper clocking and seating of the coil spring around it’s circumference. This allows the spring to spread it’s load across the entire spring seat, not at one small area as other designs on the market do. Note: We do not alter the ride height.

Another feature of our RRx Seriesâ„¢ tubular front lower a-arms that is missing from most of our competitor’s products is a coil spring retention tube. We weld a short piece of 4″ o.d. tube to the base of our coil spring mount for the coil spring to slide over. This locks the coil spring in place and keeps it perfectly centered inside of the a-arm.

The front shock’s lower t-bar mounts to our a-arm base just like it does on the factory a-arm. What that means is you can run any front shock or front coil over system. If it mounts to the factory a-arm, it will mount the same to our a-arm. That provides you with the flexibility to run factory style coil springs or lowering springs, factory or aftermarket front shocks, and aftermarket front coil over kits, all on the same a-arm.

These a-arms come equipped with steering stops welded in place that maintain the factory steering radius as well as polyurethane bump stops that maintain the same suspension travel as the factory a-arms.

Finally, we include new spherical front sway bar end links. Our front sway bar end links connect to the a-arm with a self-lubricating Teflon® lined chrome moly spherical joint that provides a bind-free connection for maximum handling performance. The top of the end link connects to the front sway bar with low deflection polyurethane bushings.
