This is a complete set of 4 fully assembled CPP Totally Tubular A-arms for 78-87 G Body. These arms come installed with factory style ball joints and the lower control arm will accommodate most aftermarket sway bars on the market and are compatible with both coil springs and coilover setups. Additionally, the lower control coil spring pocket is in the stock/factory location and will not lower the car like other vendors control arm do. These A-arms come fully assembled and ready to install and are made proudly in the USA!    

The Coil-Over Conversion Kit for features Viking billet, double-adjustable coil over shocks with 550lbs springs. This highly adjustable race quality shock features dual 19 click rebound and compression adjustment knobs providing a total of 361 possible dampening combinations while the threaded pre-load collar will adjust ride height as well as make the spring stiffer/softer. The bodies are constructed of high quality billet aluminum and the surface is a very high quality, sleek, clear anodized finish. Viking light weight springs are just as high tech as their shocks. Each spring is cold wound, high tensile U.S. spring steel that has been heat treated and shot peened with both ends ground and are powder coated a chrome-like silver. Additionally, they are non-binding “high travel” springs and are 25% lighter, on average versus the competition. Our tubular rear toe links will lock in your toe settings, minimize wheel hop, improve handling, and increase traction. Our tubular rear toe links are much stronger than the factory’s flexible stamped steel toe links.

These tubular rear toe links are constructed from 1.25″ x .095″ wall DOM tubing and are 100% TIG welded to provide for maximum strength and durability.

These tubular rear toe links arms are equipped with Del-Sphere™ pivot joints that provide for “bind-free” handling and no deflection launch performance, rather than the soft rubber bushings that come from the factory.

They are an easy bolt-in installation using basic hand tools and re-use the factory mounting hardware. They include the ABS wiring mounts just like the factory toe links. These tubular rear toe links weigh in at only 9.10# pair.

They’re available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

Del-Sphere™ Pivot Joints:

The Spohn Performance Del-Sphere™ pivot joint solves the shortcomings of the factory rubber and aftermarket polyurethane bushings. Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint incorporates a spherical ball which is surrounded by Delrin® bushing cups.

Think of the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint as a Delrin® bushed spherical rod end. After over a year of R&D testing here at Spohn Performance on a streetable spherical joint the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is the final result. Designed and manufactured exclusively by Spohn Performance, we have taken street suspension performance to the next level.

Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joint features a one piece forged and heat treated chrome moly housing, a heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly spherical ball, Delrin® bushing cups, heat treated retainer washer and snap ring, heat treated and chrome plated chrome moly threaded adjuster ring, an external grease fitting, and a beautiful silver zinc plated housing finish.

The Delrin® bushing cups absorb shock and road noise so you get the quiet and smooth ride of a bushing as well as 28° of rotation! Our Del-Sphere™ pivot joints will always ship to you fully assembled, however, we also offer an optional adjusting tool that will allow you to do two things.

First, you can disassemble the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint for cleaning, inspection, etc. Second, you can adjust the amount of tension on the spherical ball. The amount of tension can be easily adjusted by using our optional adjustment tool to tighten or loosen the end retainer ring.

What that means is if over time and miles the tolerances open up you can simply re-adjust the retainer ring and have your pivot joint as tight as it was the day it was brand new. We doubt you’ll ever need to replace the Delrin® bushing cups, but they certainly can be. Unlike a spherical rod end, the Del-Sphere™ pivot joint is 100% rebuildable.

Delrin® Bushings: These a-arms are equipped with Delrin® bushings. They’re designed for the serious Road Race or AutoX car that demands a zero deflection bushing for maximum handling performance. They are a bit harsher on the street (NVH). These a-arms are available with polyurethane bushings, search for Part# 782-G in our eBay Store to purchase these.

In December of 2014 we released these RRx Seriesâ„¢ tubular front lower a-arms for the 1978-1987 GM G-Body that set a higher standard of performance and quality. They are truely the new standard of comparison.

All of our RRx Series™ tubular a-arms are designed using aerospace level technology and design tools. First we create a 3D scan of the factory a-arm using a FARO® ScanArm™ with a 3D laser scanning attachment. Then we use that 3D model of the factory a-arm as our foundation for creating a tubular version inside of our Solidworks® 3D design software.

After we’re done designing the a-arm in Solidworks®, we then use that 3D data to design the jig that we will use to build the a-arms. The jig parts are then CNC laser cut and formed on an 8 axis CNC press brake. The final result is dimensional accuracy to within .005″!

When we designed our RRx Seriesâ„¢ tubular front lower control arms, we had two goals in mind. One was to provide the performance capabilities needed for the toughest race tracks, the second was to provide the strength and durability required for the demands of a daily driven vehicle.

We’re proud to say that we have accomplished both. If you’re looking for the strongest, most rigid, and best performing front lower a-arms for the GM G-Body cars, you just found them!

Our RRx Seriesâ„¢ front control arms are a true “A” arm rather than a “V” arm. This increases the arm’s rigidity and equalizes the forces delivered in to the frame. These a-arms are completely gusseted to provide for maximum rigidity and durability, as well as zero flex.

The CNC machined coil spring mounting tube is completely surrounded and tied in with CNC laser cut 3/16″ steel gussets that are solid MIG welded. We also 100% TIG weld on CNC laser cut and formed 3/16″ steel bushing tube gussets for maximum strength and durability.

These a-arms are equipped with a CNC machined coil spring mounting tube for installation of factory or factory style (lowering) springs. The coil spring mounting base has a spring ramp that provides for proper clocking and seating of the coil spring around it’s circumference. This allows the spring to spread it’s load across the entire spring seat, not at one small area as other designs on the market do. Note: We do not alter the ride height.

Another feature of our RRx Seriesâ„¢ tubular front lower a-arms that is missing from most of our competitor’s products is a coil spring retention tube. We weld a short piece of 4″ o.d. tube to the base of our coil spring mount for the coil spring to slide over. This locks the coil spring in place and keeps it perfectly centered inside of the a-arm.

The front shock’s lower t-bar mounts to our a-arm base just like it does on the factory a-arm. What that means is you can run any front shock or front coil over system. If it mounts to the factory a-arm, it will mount the same to our a-arm. That provides you with the flexibility to run factory style coil springs or lowering springs, factory or aftermarket front shocks, and aftermarket front coil over kits, all on the same a-arm.

These a-arms come equipped with steering stops welded in place that maintain the factory steering radius as well as polyurethane bump stops that maintain the same suspension travel as the factory a-arms.

Finally, we include new spherical front sway bar end links. Our front sway bar end links connect to the a-arm with a self-lubricating Teflon® lined chrome moly spherical joint that provides a bind-free connection for maximum handling performance. The top of the end link connects to the front sway bar with low deflection polyurethane bushings.

Rear control arms are one of the most important suspension modifications that can be done to your GM vehicle. Stock control arms are on the borderline of “junk”, bushing deflection and rusting weak stamped material add for traction loss and poor handling ability. Our tubular control arms are designed to give you the best of both worlds, whether your car is a weekend cruiser or a weekend track addict we got you covered. The included Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings are an excellent improvement over OEM rubber bushings, while adding ride improvements they also work excellent to reduce traction loss. Our tubular front upper a-arms for the 1978-1987 GM G-Body cars provide additional header clearance and are assembled with new forged 4140 chrome moly offset cross shafts and heavy-duty bushing retainers. Not only will they provide maximum rigidity and great looks, they also drop almost four pounds of unsprung weight!

Our sway bars for the 1982-1992 GM F-Body Camaro and Firebird are the single biggest handling improvement you can make. They dramatically reduce body roll and increase your cornering capabilities. Don’t skimp on the foundation of your suspension!

This 1.375″ diameter lightweight tubular front sway bar is made from 3/16″ wall 4130N chrome moly tubing. This bar is precision CNC formed and coined as one piece.

The end seams are TIG welded and the end link coins feature machined chamfers to seal the bar. This tubular bar is over 10 pounds lighter than a comparable diameter solid bar providing maximum performance with minimal weight!

We put our sway bar through this extensive manufacturing process to ensure that the final product will be the strongest, and most durable sway bar on the market, and the most resistant to form alteration.

This front sway bar includes new polyurethane sway bar bushings and end links, everything you need for an easy bolt in installation and maximum performance!

It’s available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.

    Rear control arms are one of the most important suspension modifications that can be done to your GM vehicle. Stock control arms are on the borderline of “junk”, bushing deflection and rusting weak stamped material add for traction loss and poor handling ability. Our tubular control arms are designed to give you the best of both worlds, whether your car is a weekend cruiser or a weekend track addict we got you covered. The included Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings are an excellent improvement over OEM rubber bushings, while adding ride improvements they also work excellent to reduce traction loss. These control arms are a direct bolt-on replacement designed to minimize wheel hop, improve cornering and help track consistency.

    Our tubular rear trailing arms will lock in your caster settings, minimize wheel hop and increase traction. Our tubular rear trailing arms are much stronger than the factory’s stamped steel arms.

    These tubular rear trailing arms are constructed from 1.25″ x .095″ wall DOM tubing and 1/4″ CNC laser cut and formed steel mounting brackets that are fully gusseted to eliminate flex and provide for maximum strength and durability.

    These tubular rear trailing arms are equipped with Delrin® bushings with grease fittings for easy lubrication rather than the soft rubber bushings that come from the factory. This provides for ZERO bushing deflection and maximum handling performance.

    They are an easy bolt-in installation using basic hand tools and re-use the factory mounting hardware. These tubular rear trailing arms weigh in at only 6.30# pair. These are geared toward road race applications as the Delrin® bushings will increase road noise.

    They’re available powder coated in your choice of bright red or gloss black for a brilliant and durable finish.
