A spring is a spring right? Wrong! When UMI chose to manufacture our own line of springs we went all out. Designed in conjunction with a leading Sprint Cup chassis engineer, these springs are the best in the business. Our front springs are wound from 5160 CrSi premium wire and feature a linear 600 lb/in rate. The rear springs are wound from 9254 CrSi premium wire and feature a linear 130 lb/in rate. The linear rate provides consistent handling characteristics which are important for Auto-x and Pro-Tour applications while the increase in stiffness reduces body roll and prevents the “floating” feeling so common with the G-body. These springs are suitable for Auto-x and Pro-Tour applications as well as corner carving/cruising. The ride height is engineered for a 2” lowering with standard SBC as well as LS power (lightened cars may require spring trimming). The front springs are also suitable for full weight Big Block applications when ¼” nose down rake is desired. They have a tough, black powder coat finish and UMI proudly manufactures these premium quality springs in the USA.

The P/N 90058 heavy duty engine mounts for GM G-body cars takes the place of the heavy factory clamshell mount. It places the Small Block Chevy in exact factory location and uses our popular P/N 90051 solid motor mounts or can be used with the factory rubber mounts. Tough 3/16” laser cut brackets and Grade 8 hardware can handle as much horsepower as you can throw at them. When used with part #90051, solid engine mounts improve responsiveness and help prevent engine movement, which can help in tight packaging situations (large header primaries, turbos, etc). Solid engine mounts work best in racing applications and may contribute to increased Noise, Vibration and Harshness. Available in gloss black powder coat. These engine mounts are proudly used on UMI’s G-Body test car, 1979 Monte Carlo “Green Machine”. 100% manufactured, tested and raced out of Philipsburg, PA – USA. Note: Heavy duty engine mounts do not work with Oldsmobile or Pontiac engines.

Stock control arms are on the borderline of “junk”, bushing deflection and rusting weak stamped material add for traction loss and poor handling ability. Our tubular control arms are designed to give you the best of both worlds, whether your car is a weekend cruiser or a weekend track addict we got you covered. The included Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings are an excellent improvement over OEM rubber bushings, while adding ride improvements they also work excellent to reduce traction loss. These control arms are a direct bolt-on replacement designed to minimize wheel hop, improve corning and help track consistency. Lower control arms are supplied with sway bar mounting holes designed for your stock sway bar and most aftermarket bars.
Installs in 2 hours using OEM hardware. All installation instructions included.
